Are the WII fits any good, for weight loss i mean.
See I have a friend and she comes down nearly every day , which I dont mind but as her son finishes day nursey sooner than my little one so haven't evn got the chance to go swimming with her as shes forever on about oh we'll have to go and get J soon, and i'm thinking i bl**dly well know that I can read the clock too:mad: Like last week we went to buy some bits and she spent that long faffing on in clothes shops lifting this & that trying up to her self, I ended up coming home with nothing I wanted, with her saying on we'll have to get J soon argh I assured her well get down in time for him, So when we got of the bus I shot down to the day care for him that fast she couldnt keep up with 15 minutes to spare. That will teach her to listen to me in future.

Hiya everyone, feeling a bit sorry for myself today. Not been feeling v well. AGAIN. This cold is driving me mad, just when i think i've gotten rid of it i get it back again. Feeling a bit better now, but will be even better when i'm snuggled up in bed later. OH instised on putting the heating on this morn. We've not had it on since april n i was determined to not have it on until november but he said no. Apparently i was shivering all night - even tho i had fleecy pjs on, n said i had to try n keep warm. Bless him. I turned it off as soon as he went to work tho. As you can imagine i've not done much today, might go on ex bike later if i have the energy.
I know what you all mean about counting cals. The more i try and be good and plan my food etc... the worse i seem to be. I was following tesco diets ages ago (mainly coz i got it half price, plus cashback n tesco points), n the first few wks i did really well. Lost 2lb every wk for 4wks then nothing for 3 months!!!!!! Gave in in the end n joined here. One thing i do reccommend you should try if you can is to have a big breakfast. I dont always have time but when i do i find i dont snack throughout day n feel really satisfied till lunch.
Must get my pedometer sorted tho, i know i'll start getting lazy again!
Today
B - cereal
L - huge jacket spud with tuna n mozzarella

Like everything else, (exercise DVDs etc) they're good if you use them, if you see what I mean. There's a thread about using wii fit for weight loss here, for me the main benefit of wii fit is that it's fun, so I'm motivated to use it. Kids love it too though:rolleyes: .
((((hugs)))) to nickynoo, hope you feel better soon hun.0 -
Hi everyone, I haven't posted for quite a while and this was probably because I was going the wrong way and too embarrased to post that.
I haven't been too bad but the inevitable birthday weekend (OH's, not mine) did mean a few indulgent meals and a touch of wine
I think I'm about the same, I haven't jumped on the scales yet though.
12 weeks to Crimbo tomorrow means I do have to get things together if I want to be lighter when sitting on Santa's knee:rotfl: Don't want to do the poor guy an injury :rotfl:
I'll be back in tomorrow..0 -

Hi all,
Hope you feel better soon floyd and nicky, and the root canal went ok beanie..... congrats on the 1lb off!!:T
I'm starting to struggle, definitely to do with the about turn in the weather and thoughts of pies and comforting stodge are starting to creep in.... haven't given in to them yet but the old willpower is starting to feel verrrrry shakey!:o Didn't get to the pool yesterday either. The good intentions were there, had my cozzie with me ready to go straight from work, but had no heating on in the office all day and getting home to warm up with a bowl of chilli won hands down over a swim!
Nice to see you back moneypooh, good luck with the weigh in tappy!0 -

Yesterday was fairly good. Had chick pea and spinnach curry with the 4p sauce, it was very good. Swam 50 lengths - the first 10 were hard I can't get the breathing right for front crawl so I alternate between breast and back stroke, the back stroke really makes my legs turn to jelly and this morning my arms feel like I have been weight lifting. I haven't done more than 50 lengths but I have been doing them in a faster time over the last 4/5 weeks. When I got home was ravenous so had a peanut butter sarnie - in my defence it was on whole meal bread and only one slice folded. I so want to loose a couple of the birthday pounds this week. Tonight will be tough - going bowling with workmates then to Frankie and Bennie's. No starter or pud and will stay off the vino. Hugs and kind thoughts to you all.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb
