    Hi mot,

I'm also going to give up counting calories and otherwise focussing on food, cos this just makes me think about it all the time and end up eating more. Just use packet guides for per person amounts when cooking pasta etc, so I stop cooking too much:rolleyes: , cook even more veg, to fill us up, and avoid using fatty foods (mostly do this but could do more).

So new start for me today:j

Well done to all the losers, and sts and comisserations to the gainers! Have a fab day everyone:T Leyla, xx

That is so true for me as well, the more I think about it and try to work out all the points, sins, portions or whatever (depending what diet I use, WW slimming world etc) the more weight I put on.

Started ok, 2 slices of toast, took 2 nectarines and banana to work for morning break, came home, thought I do a stirfry with some prawns, didn't taste very good, ate it anyway and then just ate 4 oreo biscuits, don't know why. Did make up some sugar free jelly to munch on tonight as evenings are hard for me, I can just pick on food all night.. Good idea about the "thinking thin" approach, I have a Paul McKenna book lying around somewhere, will try and find it

Have being doing the usual stress thing...baking and eating most of it myself...made banana sponge thing to-day and have eaten quarter of it so the rest is going in the freezer in a few minutes, had a few glasses of vino over the weekend which is not good as I tend to retain fluid even more when I have alcohol so water will be drink of choice for the rest of the week...after the coffee I have around 9!

Congratulations to the losers and hope that the rest of us can make it sometime!

Hi, my ideal target would be 9st -8st 10lbs, which is lowest I've managed to get down to. (although my pre-baby weight was 8st, I cant see me getting that low again , unless I count my EatingDisordered weight which I wont count and the less i mention that the better. :D ), I am only 5ft 1 (well 5ft & quater inch to be exact lol)so i think this makes me slightly over weight. Really i'll be happy to be in the healthy BMI range and get in a routine of working out.

    Well done Droopy :T

My throat feels like I have been gargling with razor blades

Still didn't stop me eating ginger nut biscuits last night but they were budgeted for so thats OK. Didn't go swimming because I don't want to give this to anyone else and I generally feel drained so doing 44 lengths was beyond me :o

Anyway, today should be OK as OH has figured out what hes making tonight so I can dream about my tea all day :rotfl:

B: Toast with Dairylea or porridge with raspberries (depends if I can find a bowl in work as mine smashed yesterday)

    L: HM veg soup

D: Chick pea and spinach curry with brown rice

    S: Apples and clementines

I am still hopefull that I can shift a pound by the weekend but without swimming it will be tough, heres hoping :)

  • Morning all!

Well done Droopy:T , and poor you floyd, hope you feel better soon hun:A !

I'm hoping to get back on track today, as I kinda over-ate yesterday on yummy mini ice lollies I bought cos they didn't have many cals each hmmm:o

Banning myself from eating anywhere but kitchen table (that means I can't see the PC etc until I finish eating) should help cos there's a fine line between my love of food and mse:D

    So food for me today:

    B: museli
    S: banana, carrot sticks
L: dry fried eggs, bread, fat free yoghurt
    S: fruit
D: s/c turkey curry, rice, veg

    Have a great day everyone:wave:
