Morning all,
Just had the end of yesterday's homemade soup and 2 plums for breakfast, currently having coffee with good spoonful of honey in as I have a head cold.
Not sure what lunch will be...maybe banana sandwich as we have loads somehow, dinner will be mackerel with salad and green beans, maybe baked spud.
Congratulations to all the losers and commiserations to the gainers...think that I have more or less stayed the same...no specs on when I weighed but it looked like a bit over 14 stone so that's what I am going with

Looks like there have been a few good losses so well done to all!
I think I'm back on my game now. I did have a couple of biscuits at work yesterday but that was mainly due to having a miniscule bowl of cereal (I ran out!) and therefore was starving! But I think I pretty much worked them off at karate so don't feel so bad!
No snacking today but I have a birthday party tomorrow night so don't think I'll be doing well this weekend!0 -

Embarrased to report a 1lb gain. Thought I was doing OK with all the exercise, plus I've given up alcohol and crisps (my main weakness!) but obviously still eating too much:o. Time to cut back some more...
Am off to the pool in a bit for aquafit and lane swim, might do a bit of cycling this afternoon if the weather holds. Had museli for brekkie, not sure about rest of menu today.
Have a good day everyone
Leyla xx
Hi Leyla,
don't forget if you are doing more exercise than normal you probably are building some muscle, which weighs much more than fat! i would try recording your measurements too as that will give a good indication of shaping up. HTHPlease be nice to all moneysavers!

Thanks pebbles, I'll try that from now on, I do feel better for all the exercise so that's something at least. My clothes feel much the same on me but then it would take more than a pound or two of fat off to make a difference there:rolleyes:--at least they're not tighter:o.0 -
Morning all!
Hotcookie - well done on your loss!:T
Leyla - the others are right about the exercise so dont lose heart -
Not a good day yesterday as I ate quite a few sweets while on my course - there was bowls of them on the tables:rolleyes: - then I ate 2 HM jam tarts last night:D very nice but shouldn't have had them.
Trying to get back to it today

Ho Hum, morning all
Back to STS this week which is a bit gutting as I have been super-good and been swimming but I guess it had to slow down at some point, I just hoped I would have lost a bit more before it didMaybe its just because I need to 'go' if you get my meaning :rotfl:
Today I will be busy preparing stuff for my friends party tomorrow but its all healthy so I won't be as tempted to pick. Spent last night making braised red cabbage and apple jam but the jam didn't set (even though it wrinkled) so I had to re-boil it and re sterilise the jars at 2am!
B: Nothing yet, probably toast and fruit
L: Jacket spud with beans (will be in Costco)Quorn cottage pie with red cabbage, green beans (2 packs organic whoopsied to 60p yesterday) and white cabbage
Have a fab weekend all, hopefully I can find somewhere to watch the derby match today that doesn't have a BBQ on as I can't resist the smell0 -

Morning all,
Still peeved about not losing anything and I have probably made it worse by haveing some white choc and a peanut butter sandwich late last night. Gah, why do I do it to myself?
Anyway, today will be difficult as my friend is doing a bbq and I went shopping with him to get the food so I can't see how I can do it healthily. Burgers, sausage, steak (don't really like red meat so they are out) then chicken, satay prawns and halloumi (halloumi and prawns are out because of the fat) so that leaves chicken or a griddled portabello mushroom......oh joy!
I used to love BBQ days but now I dread them even if I do all the food because of the huge temptation with all the lovely smells.
B: Toast with cottage cheese and vine tomatoes
L: Won't have anything until BBQBBQ food that I MUST keep in check what I eat
Have a good day all0 -
Hello
Have just weighed myself and I am still 11st 7lb which is where I started back in March I think. I did almost get down to 11 but then lost the plot. Birthday celebrations have wrecked Sept otherwise I think I would be nearer 11 however if I had not at least been trying I'm sure I would be over 12.
I have eaten all my birthday chocolates and intend to have no more until Xmas. Today is uncertain as we are visiting friends and I don't know the eating plan. Will probably involve pizza and cake - after which I shall not eat any more of either until Dec! I want salad and soup to easy my poor tum.
Feeling very sick - must remember I DO NOT LIKE THORNTONS NO NEED TO LOOK FOR THE NICE ONE, THERE AREN'T ANY. Next box I get will be given away.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb
11st 5lb as at 20.04.09 11st 7lbs 040509 11st6 010609 I wish 2016 175 lbs.

good morning!
I think I posted ages and ages ago wanting to join in with this challenge but I don't seem to be able to stick to any regime. I have asked help from GP and seeing a very nice dietician but all she does is giving me different diets and I have dieted since for about 25 years now and just emotionally just can't hack it, the more I try to stick to anything the more I eat and crave!
I know my problem is that I am an emotional eater, Is there any hope for me or am I destined to stay obese? I am an ok cook, cook from scratch but just way too much, hate being hungry. Anyway, all sounds very negative, doesn't it, but want to get involved on this thread and read your experiences and get good recipe ideas, stuck in a rut a bit, cooking the same dishes over and over again. So, could I please join in? I will be trying to read as many posts as possible. :hello:0
