Hi everyone
Right i must get my bum back in gear!!!! I've been too complacent (sp?) for far too long now and even tho i've managed to loose for the last 2wks (just good luck me thinks) its all gonna be pilling back on if im not careful! The main thing for me at the moment is that i'm just not eating enough fruit n veg and i'm certainly not doing enough exercise. I've just been upstairs n dug out some exercise dvd's that i can do while my little un has his daily nap n i've decided reather than push myself too much like i normally do (normally i'd exercise every day for 2wks then be totally shattered n not want to do any for a while!) i'm just gonna start with doing my dvd's twice a wk 20mins at a time as well as my usual daily walking. Also my OH hates Strictly so i said while he watches his rubbish downstairs i'll watch it upsatirs n go on my exercise bike - 2 birds 1 stone! I'll need to dust it off first tho:o. I'm desperate for wii fit but cant get hold of one anywhere looks like i'll ha
ve to wait for xmas for that.
I've also just been shopping n bought a load of apples, pears, satumas n bananas. Also got broccoli for broccoli n cheese soup. I used to always eat my 5a day too but as of late my bad habits seem to be slowly coming back, so i'm putting a stop to it now

Hi mellika, welcome and good luck!!
Pleased to say I'm still on track foodwise, good intentions usually start fizzling after a couple of good weeks but I'm hangin' on in there..... a lot to do with the glorious weather we've been having I think, feel so much more positive than when it's murky and miserable. Taking the day off on Friday, might go for a swim first thing if I've recovered from last night's 34 lengths (couldn't manage the 40!!) and definitely off for a long walk so hope the sun keeps shining.

I'm not feeling too great today. I had a bad time a few days ago and fell off the wagon big time and put back on the 2lb I lost last week. So I'm feeling really down and a bit depressed. I don't seem to have the strength/enthusiasm to keep to this and I'm worried that if I don't get this sorted soon, I never will
Sorry to be a bit of a black cloud this morning.
I'll take stock today and hopefully move on.

Was supposed to go out last night but hadn't had confirmation by 3pm so a bag of doritos waylaid me whilst I was innocently watching afternoon TV. (I don't like doritos but I still managed to eat half a very large pack.) Was munching and feeling all let down when I got a message saying dinner was on. Had a lovely - meal portabello mushrooms topped with mediteranean veg and swiss cheese on lettuce. Followed by merange (sp) with strawbs and cream. Just one glass of wine. Lovely company. I should have more trust.
One more birthday dinner to go (Friday) and then I shall be trying to lose a pound or 3 before xmas.
