I really don't know what's going on in BMF World just lately
The trouser waistband is a tad uncomfortable once more, but I'm definately not eating things I shouldn't--twice now I've done a roast & forgone my beloved tatties
in favour of extra veg.
I'm thinking it is my lack of regular exercise that is a major hitch to weight-loss, so I guess I'd best get me bootz on & grab the Pooch by the leadThe biggest drawback with that is....mum'll get left to walk poor Pup every time, even tho technically he's not my dog & shouldn't be my responsibility  Don't get me wrong--I luv'im to bits & beyond, but the offspring wanted a pooch & :wall: foolishly, I though with them being "adults" the novelty factor wouldn't have worn off quite as quickly as it has....

2 days off now!:j went out for a meal with work last night - not a low cal one but there wasn't anything low cal for non meat eaters:rolleyes:
There was a choice of fish and chips veggie lasagne and garlic bread or veggie enchilada with nachos so I went for the last option - it was gorgeous but smothered in cheese!:D why do pubs think all veggie food needs to be smothered in cheese! not a lentil in sight!
today I've had a small slice of toast and 1 weetabix.
Jacket spud and a bit of cheese and salad for lunch and possibly quorn cottage pie and veggies for dinner.
hope your day goes well all!Do what you love :happyhear0 -

Well, back from the Dr's, she was really lovely, said I look Ok as such:D , (BMI is 34 but I'm fairly muscular) and gave some good tips but otherwise had little to offer--seems my health authority doesn't offer subsidised gym or RC membership  (some do), ah well, if you don't ask... However I'm going to see the practice nurse for monthly weigh in's and pep talks, which might help with motivation. Worth a try anyway:o0

Morning all,
Slight ache in my bum this morning from swimming but otherwise OK, wonder when it will stop hurting when I swim
Well I am back on normal days so eating should be OK, just hope I'm not in too late as that usually spells a tough time.
B: Bran Flakes with skimmed milk and banana
L: HM veg soup and 1 slice wholemeal breadNot sure, OH in charge so could be anything really
but he does cook sensible things so I'm sure it will be fine.
S: Going for a coffee now so will have my usual
Have a great day all, good luck leyla however you choose to tackle your weight loss0 -
Hi all :hello:
I was looking at pictures from 3 and a half years ago, when I was 18 and had just met my now husband. I think it was the shock I needed. I just can't believe I was so slim (a size 10 - that's slim in my book)
I'm now a size 14/16 and because of a hormonal imbalance my weight gets strangely distributed and I look deformed! lol
So basically, I'm just saying you have a new suscriber to the thread
Will weigh myself etc and report back later.

Hiya everyone, well done to any loosers and sts and hello to all newbies.
feel like rubish today, have had a niggling cold for the last few days, thought i'd managed to shrug it off but feels like its coming back with a vengance!!!
Been a bit naughty this wk. Coz i've not been feeling so well i've left tea for my OH to sort. Big mistake! He went out sunday when i was feeling my worst for some milk and came back with pizza for tea:mad: . Would care but we're on a v v tight budget at the moment. He reckons we had nowt in to make. I was fumming even more coz the freezers are litterally bulging with curry i'd batched cooked and other bits n pieces. Men!!!
Any way i had a busy cooking day today, made flapjack, mars bar cake (although the crispie bit is not setting v well so have stuck it back in fridge), cheese scones and tom and lentil soup. Will have to be strict with myself tho or my scales wont be happy with me on sunday!

What a beautiful day it is again here, I love it like this, sunny and clear. What a change from the horrible muggy, dank August we had to endure.
Anyway firstly CONGRATS TO ALL YOU WONDERFUL LOSERS, FANTASTIC :j :j . Also a big welcome to you newlies :T , and thanks for the welcome back Taplady, I've found I've come to my optimum weight now and size 12/14. Being post menopausal it is higher than I'd planned, but my body just decided this is it, any more would be a struggle to achieve and maintain, and I don't do either!
It was a Jobs Fare at our Town Hall today so off I went to see if I could find DS4 a part time job and came home with an application form and interview for me next Monday. How did that happen??? Also got DS three application forms. He's only been back at college one day and is full of cold and feeling carp. The specialist I was thinking of cancelling as he was feeling better now seems like a good chance to ask why this lad of mine is always ill, one thing after another.
Haven't stopped baking in days, the freezer is groaning with cakes and puds, veg and HM breads. Hoping that what I'm allowing myself is maintaining and not putting on. Will see next week at the end of the month WI, so fingers and everything else crossed.:D
Off to walk doglets now then making a very interesting recipe for sugarless fruit cake on the side of a cerial pack. If it's any good I'll let you know. Have a great day all.
