Hi Leyla, stick with it and you'll soon start to see the benefits. One of the most important things I have learnt by posting here is not using a single slip up like a bar of choc or bag of crisps as an excuse to trigger a binge. Chalk it up as a minor lapse, remember that you enjoyed what you ate don't feel guilty.
I just got back from the food fair with a bag of carrots, a cauli and some sort of greens. I had a square of focaccia for brekkie and carribean black eye peas with spicy rice and salad for lunch which was really tasty and not too huge, also just had a small ice cream. Dinner is veggie black pudding sandwich, bit of an odd day but just fancied bits and bobs instead of a big dinner.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend all0 -

Finished my last box of birthday chocs last night and feel like I've put on a stone after all my over indulgence these last couple of weeks! I'm actually considering buying scales to see what the damage is but at least I can still button up my trousers so it can't be that bad!!
Although there's still some choc floating around the tea room at work I've brought fruit with me for snacks so hopefully I can resist and start eating healthily again!0 -
Good morning!!
Hi Procrostinator and PurpleSkies, it must have been one of those weeks, I feel as if I've done nothing but eat all week and must have gained at least a stone! I wasn't brave enough to weigh myself this morning....
Well today I've had some museli and we're having omelette for supper, will prob have a toastie and some salad for lunch.
I'm off to the Dr's tomorrow to ask for whatever help's available on the NHS, because I've finally accepted that I'm not doing so great on my own (been trying to lose weight, unsuccessfully, for years) and am going to tackle my obesity with all that's (cheaply) available, before I start to get increasingly serious health problems, lol. That's if I can hold my nerve until tomorrow, anyway, wish me luck!
Have a great day everyone, Layla, xx0 -

Popping in to report a 1/2 pound loss, woooohoooooo!!!!!! Not even sure how that happened, I was expecting an STS at best after a chinese takeaway on Saturday night and a few delves into the bicky tin at work..... but I did get on the scales 3 times to make sure and yes, it's definitely gone!!:j :j :j
Hope you swim went well Floyd, think I'll try and do 40 lengths tomorrow instead of my usual 30 but I'll see how energetic I'm feeling when I get there...... don't really want to kill myself when I'm only 2lb off target!!:D
Belated Happy Birthday to procrastinator and purpleskies..... don't worry about birthday indulgences, that's what birthdays are for!!
Have a good week everyone!0 -
Hi all,
Just a quick check in before bed, managed 42 lengths tonight and it damn near killed me. Its strange how one week it flies by and others every length is painful. Ah well, I've done it now and strangely enough I'm not ravenous like I usually am so I will go to bed with a massive calorie defecit which makes a nice change
Night all0
