Frogga...stop being so b***dy negative...it doesn't suit you!
Congratulations to the losers
Thanks for the tips on getting rid of my bloat...actually think I did some harm to left ankle while away as it is painful to the touch, but will try the pillows to-night and go for the pearl barley to-morrow.
This evening I have eaten stir fried beef with rice and vegetables, thick slice of bread and butter...have had about 2 pints of water but no tea or coffee.
Up early to-morrow as DD2 has driving test and pretest lesson before...she hasn't driven much so not sure how she will do, think that I might get OH to collect her afterwards!
Sleep well all

10past6 - muesli is another good choice and is delicious if you soak it in milk in the fridge overnight! I add extra dried fruit nuts and seeds to mine.
Thx, I tried muesli once, many moons ago, and it tasted, erm, yuk.
However, soaking it overnight sounds like a good idea, the only issue, I’m not keen on cold milk, can I heat muesli like cornflakes / porridge, in the microwave?

RS and I have come uo with a cunning planWe are going to WI tomorrow () as it's August 1st and then not agin til August 31st. That will give us a whole month to a) NOT BINGE and b)STOP OBSESSING ABOUT THE SCALES. Then we'll see how we've done . I'm sure even Piggy Malone here can do it!!!
Going to the Flicks this morning to see WALL E with the Tadpoles. We've got free tickets so it wont hurt the purse either :T
As we were talking about being hot or cold at night I thought I would tell you what I had on in bed last night ~ The winter duvet, the top quilt, pj's and my fleecyWell, Mr Frog was away so I couldn't snuggle up and put my feet on him warm legs so I ended up with socks on too. Dya think I'm ill? I NEVER get too hot you know
Even when it's REALLY hot. I did sweat once in 1994 when I push biked to Norwich on a summer day. I can clearly recall a bead of sweat on my back. It's not as if I haven't got ample insulation so I wonder why
Any way have a good one guys , post later xxxxxxxxxxxxxxSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Morning all,
Not a good start, noticed I had a flat tyre so had to hop on the bus which means I am late already  will have to sort it out later when I get home. I am super tired because i didn't get home until nearly 9 last night after being in since 7.30am.
Trying different breakfast and lunch foods today to try and pull me out of my rut
B: Wholemeal toast with a scrape of cream cheese
L: Leftover scouse with beetroot and red cabbageDinner will be a bit odd as I am going swimming so before I will have a small bowl of MIL HM soup then small tin of beans on 2 slices wholemeal toast when I get back.
Alot of bread today but I am craving it so best to eat and enjoy than binge and destroy :rotfl:
Have a great day all0 -
Hi
Just off to work.
Family sabotaged plans yesterday but managed to grab a swim & picked healthy choices on my enforced trips out for lunch & tea!!
It would have been Mum & Dad's anniversary yesterday (Dad passed away in February so 1st for Mum on her own) so well meaning DS1 decided it might be nice if we took her out for tea after I had already taken her out for lunch!!
Oh well hopefully back in control today.
Fruit & fibre for breakfast, HG salad for lunch & pasta for tea.
Plenty of fruit around for snacks if needed.
C u later

Morning all.
Frogga - I would prefer to be cold than hot - love skiing - although -18C was a bit too cold!
Only love the hot weather when I'm on holiday and don't have to do anything
Food today is:
breakfast - oats soaked in water with raisins and chopped nana
Snacks - cherries, grapes, pear.
lunch - leftover sweet chilli chicken wraps (last night's tea)
dinner - chilli
Managed to cut myself this morning on my thumb when making the chilli to go in the slow cooker  Didn't have any plasters (and it was bleeding too much anyway) so have cotton wool pads cut up, and wrapped with tape round my thumb. What a div - can't even be left in charge of a knife :rolleyes:working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
