    Morning :j

    Great start to the day - a 2lb loss:T

I have completed my 1st week and I'm very pleased. It's 14 weeks to Christmas and that means I could be 1-2 stone lighter by then.

The crisp-free week wasn't too bad, I did need to resist a few times. I do think it was a bit of a novelty and this next week will be more difficult.

The loss has encouraged me to really get going now. I really appreciate the support form you guys on this thread, it has been a great boost. BIG THANKS!! :T

    So, forward......

    today:
I'll have cereal, ham sandwich and jacket potato + fruit for snacks
I'm going to sort next weeks diary so I can do some exercise
I'm going to start week 2 of my crisp free challenge
In true MSE style I'm keeping my food costs down and looking for 'free' exercising

    right that's me

well done to other losers and STS, and everyone must keep going, it'll be worth it :j

    Morning all,

    Well done to the losers.

As the gas connection didn't arrive we couldn't cook so went out for dinner...had tuna steak with stir fried veg and noodles...very nice, then had a Magnum on the way home!

    This morning I have eaten:

    B....1 weetabix with banana and milk, pint water;
L....Sandwich of some kind, apple, coffee.
    Sn..apple, pear,
D....roast lamb, kohlrabi, roast onions, roast potato, dried apricots.

Hope to stick to above, with lots of water as weigh in is tomorrow and I am hoping to be down to 14st at least.

    Have a good day all,

    Marie

  • Hi SALOPMAN :hello:

I think thats the problem with slimming clubs, when you stop going / following the plan the weight comes back :(

I have changed the way I eat so I now have my evening meals earlier (at about 5 instead of 8/9) which I think has helped a lot. I dont snack constantly in the evening like I used to, I also now weigh out foods like cereal (30g) / pasta and rice (75g) so that I dont overeat and I have stopped having weekly takeaways like I used to. This has all really helped and I've lost over a stone in a few months :j and havent gained once :A

Its my WI today and I've lost 1lb :j

    Food today
    B: cereal L: toast D: HM soup & bread roll S: fruit / yoghurt

Well done all you losers :T

  • Afternoon all. I lost 2.5lbs this week.

Am struggling a bit as I am being really good but not seeing a big weight loss. Last time I did SW pre-baby no.2 I was good and losing 5 or 6lbs a week and I guess I expected that again this time around.

I dont know about anyone else but I expect results quickly otherwise I get annoyed and fed up so am trying really hard to think of this weight loss as a marathan rather than a sprint lol.

    Food today:-
B - hi-fi bar (as I was so busy getting the little ones sorted ready to go out I forgot to eat!).
L - ham slices, 3 babybel light, fat free yog.
D - Pork chop, cabbage, broccoli, cauli, carrots, green beans.
Snacks - Grapes, melon and strawberries.

Welcome to all the new people.

  • well done everyone - nikki, i can't believe you've never gained since you started, amazing!!

it's really not happening for me at the moment - egg baps at work this morning, eeeek! alhtough i only ate half, and had the other half for lunch, with a yoghurt. however, last night night i had a total chocolate binge, felt really bad about myself.

the wedding i was hoping to have lost weight for is now in 10 days time and i have no hope of being anywhere near where i wanted to be. as i've obviously completely missed my target i'm finding it hard to motivate myself to bother at all.

if anyone sees my slimming mojo - please send it back in my direction!!
