    Afternoon all,

Welcome to newbies and good luck to all.

Rockie...sorry to hear of further problem with exOH and that you have a migraine...take care of yourself.

    Today I have eaten:
    B...1 weetabix and 2 bananas;
L....chicken and mushroom pie, peas, turnip, carrots, apple crumble with cream, coffee.
D...when I get my kitchen free I am going to make some leek and veg soup
    Snacks....apple, plum, pear.
Need to drink lots of water, as feel thirsty much of the time.

Evening all :hello: and Thanks for the hugs and good wishes :D

Still got a fuzzy head  but so far have stuck to plan, with the addition of a soya yoghurt after tea.

ExOH - no change,, DD is 'coping'
OH - been to Welfare Rights and has to request a breakdown of his NI contributions and then take it back to WR.......

Taplady - SW quiche is tasty and very versatile! I do 3 eggs with a tub of cottage cheese, I always blend it with a stick blender thing then pour it over cooked veggies and bake about 40mins at 190/200. Tonight we've had leek, courgette and tomato - yummy!
Mushroom and spinach is good or pea and sweetcorn (I always put and onion in as well) You can even add pasta if you want it a bit more substantial. It's nice cold with salad the next day and it's free food on a green day :T

Bigsmoke - it was the ready made stuff, this morning I sliced it thinly and grilled it with some frylight sprayed on or sometimes I cube it and fry in frylight (better in olive oil but not so calorie friendly!!) If I make my own I put lots of herbs in it to add flavour and use Marigold veggie stock instead ofwater.

Rockie...has OH ever worked in another EU country, as contributions paid in any EU country can be added to those paid in your present country of residence to make up required total...can take a long time to get confirmation from some countries but it might be worth it eventually....he should take those details with him to-morrow as it will be your social services who will have to apply for confirmation, can't be done by yourself. It is last country of employment which pays benefit

    Good luck

  • Evening everyone

Very very very pleased to report a 1lb loss :D .... which takes me to half a pound under my original target, and just 2.5lb from my new and final target, yayyy!!:j Got every sympathy with your clothes crisis nikki and rockie, got the same problem here with baggy trousers being held up by belts and skirts twizzling round with a mind of their own.... can't win really, this time last year I was moaning because the same clothes were cutting off my circulation at the waist! Roll on November when my xmas savings come out, I'll be splashing most of it on new clothes for me this year!!:D

((rockie)) sorry to hear you're having such a rough time, hope things improve soon.
Nicky, well done you on the loss:T

Hope the new brekkie routine does the trick floyd.

Welcome and good luck beki and drinkupretty!

 to all those of you missing in action, hope you're all being good:D

Oh dear lord, my arms feel like they belong to someone else! Just got back from swimming and did 40 lengths in the same time as it originally took me to do 24 the first time I went swimming. I am sure I will suffer for this tomorrow!

Just had 3 small slices of wholemeal toast (the Warburtons half-size loaf) with cheese spread on (no butter). Its all within my days allowance so I don't feel bad, particularly as my swimming partner offered me buttery white doorstep toast with thick strawberry jam and I declined ;)

Hello to all the newbies, well done on the losses Droops and Nicky, hope I'm celebating at the end of the week.

Tomorrow I am taking Tappys lead and having spaghetti on toast for breakfast, I even bought a loaf and put in the office freezer so I have no excuse :)

    Night all X

I hit the fruit tonight when my crisps urge started, 1 x peach - I thankyou:D
    I haven't had any other snacks today, that's a 1st!

    well done droppydrawers :T brilliant.

I'm hoping to sort out swimming later this week, I only have 6 weeks before they close the pool so I'd like to get a kick start, then I'll have to find something else, I'm not a gym person.

    catch ya later x
  • back again:D

have put on 4lbs since i last weighed in here:eek: i blame dh being on holiday for 3 weeks! and my aim this week is to lose at least that and more as i have a dinner dance on sat and need to fit better into my dress

Having no snacks between meals, if i am really peckish i will have a small banana, and have reduced my portion sizes as i was slacking off in that department.

Exercise has increased also, did a 5 mile sponsered walk on sunday, did 2 walks yesterday and was on my wii-fit for 20 mins mainly doing jogging and step.

So will be doing loads of exercise today, no doubt:rolleyes:

Also drinking loads of water, right just off to find some lowfat recipes :D

welcome to any newbies i may have missed

    morning all1

moneypoo - well done on resisting the crisps!:T

    Pixie - welcome back!:hello:

Floyd - hope you enjoy the spaghetti! I've had 1 slice of toast(small loaf of wholemeal) and am going to have 1 weetabix and a banana with skimmed milk in a bit.

I got up early and went for a 30 min walk!:A :D dont know what got into me but I feel really good now :T must try it more often

am working on a late shift today so need to plan some food to take.
I thought I'd have a jacket spud with cottage cheese for lunch and some salmon and veggies for dinner. Lots of fruit in between with a yoghurt later too.

I thought I'd been doing well this week but the scales said not and DH commented last night 'I think you've put on this week' so I need to put more effort in.
If I dont lose half a pound this week I have to start paying again at SW:eek: this is great motivation!:D

hope you all have a great day!
