mornin' :hello:
Well the crisp challenge is going well, none for 6 days and that believe it or not is amazing for me. The weird thing is I don't miss them too much at the moment. I have tried not to snack if I don't need to. I have certainly increased my drinks intake which may be helping.
I'll catch you all tomorrow (WI day - 1st)
I hope everyone has a good day :T
today: shreddies/tuna salad/pasta + fruit for snacks.0 -
hi everyone!
i had a yummy dinner last night - peppers stuffed with cabbage cooked in garlic and onion, with a bit of blue cheese on top and a potato rosti. well, a potato rosti man as the recipe called for a 'chef's ring' which i didn't have, so i used my gingerbread man cutter! certainly puta smile on my face as i ate it...
today:
b - wheat crunchies (oops) and a plum
l - lentil soup and slice of bread with soya spread
s - bowl of bran flakes, alpro dessert that i didn't eat yesterday
t - think i'll do some osrt of ratatouille or bean casserole
should add, i ate half a bar of chocolate after the tasty dinner last night as well!
and thanks for the polenta tips rockie - i'm going to try it next month i think (go food shopping after payday!)
have a good one0 -
Well we had a fabulous time picking up DD2 from France and then a 60th Birthday bash in Torquay.
So since the start of September I have put back 4lb, so a GAIN of 4lb.
Not too bad as I was bombarded with goodies at every mealtime.
I tried to keep to mostly fruit and vegetables and fish, but it wasn't always viable.
Trying to lower cholesterol as well as weight so
MORE FRUIT, FISH, FIBRE
and
LESS MEAT, WHEAT, SWEET, TREAT

Morning all,
Later than usual due to a horrifically late night in work yesterday so I am like a walking corpse today. Not really hungry but I know I must have something to kick start my metabolism. Might change the meal plan for dinner tonight as we had planned jacket spuds but I got a real hankering for bean and veggie sausage casserole (an old SW recipe that I love) with veggies so will see how it goes.
B: Nothing yet, maybe scrambled egg on 1 slice of toast
L: HM leek and potato soupJackets or sausage casserole with plenty of veggies
S: Probably nothing
That cherry pie is still lurking and I still haven't eaten any even though I took the top of the extra thick cream last night and took a long sniff I didn't touch it0 -
morning all!
well, today's menu is...
b - cup of h/m tom soup with a h/m cheese mini-muffin
l - same as above, plus a couple of rice cakes
d - rice noodles with tons of mushrooms and a little tuna
oooorrrrrrrrrr... if (and this is a BIG if) the farm shop has got any brussel sprouts in (a bit early, but worth a phone call) then i'll be having a HUGE bowl of brussel sprouts with gravyi loooooooove sprouts! lol

Evenin' everyone:wave:
Congrats on a crisp-free week moneypooh:T and floyd for resisting cherry pie and cream..... you're a stronger woman than me!!:D
This week was going along nicely, healthy snacks only and 30 lengths in the pool yesterday ...... today some inconsiderate so and so in work had a birthday and brought in 2 boxes of shortbread (I luuurve shortbread) and a selection of muffins. If what I've heard somewhere is true and there really aren't any calories in yummy treats donated by other people then I'm still doing very well. If on the other hand someone was telling porkies.......:p
Ah well, will try again tomorrow. Keep at it folks!0 -

Today I have eaten
B: fruit
L soup, 2 slices of bread
D beans on toast
weighed myself on Saturday and had a loss of 1lb.
