Afternoon all. Welcome to all the newbies. Thankfully there are loads of people MIA so it hasnt taken me too long to catch up lol.
Had a bad week last week food wise, thankfully I didnt do a mega binge but there were a few days where I had 4+ choc bars, crisps and whatever else I could get my hands on I also had a lot of alcohol on saturday night tut tut. Am hoping the glitch was due to the monthly visitor.
Weigh in this morning and I lost 0.5lbs so a loss even though I was bad which means i have to be extra good this week.
Food today:-
B - Banana, grapes and a hi-fi bar
L - Wholemeal pasta with tikka tuna and 28g cheese followed by some natural yoghurt and strawberries
D - 85g Bacon, SW chips, beans and scrambled egg followed by a Not Guilty ice lolly.
Snacks - just a milky coffee.
Hope everyone is okay and keeping their heads above water.

Hi Again All
i'm afraid i've not been on here for over 10 days - not becuase i've particularly been away or anything, i just fell off the wagon and didn't dare come in here to admit it! however, after a fatty lunch i thought i'd just peek in to see how everyone was doing, without necessarily writing anything and i'm SO GLAD THAT I DID!! you guys have properly inspired me to get back to it, so thank you all
last time i wrote was just before a weekend away camping with the girls. we did an all day walk on the saturday but the whole weekend was filled with booze, crisps, chocolate bars/biscuits etc, and then the journey home on sunday took me almost 10 hours, and i fell into the old 'filling my face while i'm travelling' trap...
i got home, realised that i was going to a festival first thing friday morning and panicked. i didn't go to the gym all week, ate badly (whenever i cut out the gym and somehow see it as an excuse to 'treat' myself - stupid or what?!), generally fell into bad habits.
the festival was amazgin fun, although very very muddy as you can imagine from this weekend's weather! again though, i lived on snacks, pies etc. and about 12 hours drinking every day, oops!
still, i guess the trawling around in the mud, dancing, walking etc must have saved me because i've actually STS over the ten days, goodness knows how!
still, i should have been losing weight in that time, not just staying the same, so i'd like to well and truly get back on it from now on (im' so cross with myself for having that unhealthy lunch now that i've read all this!). i have a wedding at the end of sept that i wanted to be 10.5 (i.e. 10st 7) stone for. i'm 10 12 now, so i can't make it, but i'm going to pull out all the stops and see what i can do.
so, my september goal is to lose 5lbs by friday 26th sept. i think it's probably almost impossible, but i'm going to go for it!!! especially as i was planning on a cosy night in with a dvd tonight, polishing off my festival snacks and not going to the gym. i dont' have my gym kit with me, i'm sore and exhausted after the festival, but i'm going to make myself a healthy 'treat' dinner, something like steamed fish with mash, veg and gravy instead, i' msure i'll feel better for it!
sorry for the massive post, needed to get that out!
frogga - glad that the new job is going really well, sounds like you didnt' have time to feel too bad about leaving the tadpoles at home!
rockie - really glad to hear that ex-OH is starting to improve. it sounds excruciatingly slow, but hopefully small steps will get him there in the end...
well done to everyone that hit their august targets, or nearly made them, or came nowhere near but tried really hard!!! here's to an even slimmer september...0 -
