    Morning all,

    Well I am gutted to say I have STS this week but I suppose its always better than a gain. I really need to get going with the swimming but its not easy when my local pool has lots of times when you can't go in because of classes, lessons, closure times etc so I can really only go on Mondays adults only and for a Wednesday aqua fit class. :rolleyes:

    Haven't eaten anything today yet, I have a full day of cooking madness planned to stock up my new freezer. I did 7 double portions of sweet potato mash last night, today I will be making apple ginger jam, veg soup, pasta sauce and maybe an apple cake for MIL if I have time to say thankyou for the new net curtains she bought us.

    B: Probably toast and marmalade
    L: Soup and a roll
    D: Veggie burgers with potato wedges, HM coleslaw and corn on the cob

    Have a great day all :)
  • Hi Everyone
    Not posted this week - was trying to catch up with the GC thread and kept running out of time for anything else. Been a little down and kept toad company, he's quite charming when you get to know him, but his true nature shows when you step on those scales.

    Hi Kachanski
    You were asking for cheap healthy food ideas, do you like soup, home made is very nutritious and easy on the purse. There are several ideas on the forum, sorry not good enough to do the clever link things that others are so proficient at.

    Nickynoo - the healthcoach pedometer - is that the one that came with a DS lite health coach? I was thinking of getting this but if it breaks too easily won't be worth it. DS won't share his wii so no chance of the wii fit in our house - says I'll take it over - good grief how much exercise does he think I can do in one day.

    Toast and marmalade for Bfast
    lunch lasagne and broccoli - using up left of spag bol sauce from last night's diner
    will be out this eve so lunch is the main meal today and get something light later.

    Afternoon all,

    Another rotten day here, must try and salvage some clothes from the line, if only to spin them again before I drape around house!

    Today I have eaten:

    B...glass orange juice, 1 weetabix, banana, coffee;
    L...Raw onion sandwich, pint water;
    D...will be takeaway, probably Chinese;
    Snacks...apples, dried apricots and a pear.

    Congratulations to all losers and STSers

  • Good afternoon all,

    Not been around here myself that much, been busy with work and everything else.
    It also didn't help with being the time of the month (I suffer really badly). The toad visited a few days back my DD let him in the house in the shape of a large packet of chilli flavour sensations, I couldn't resist but only had a small bowl full.

    I weighed myself this morning and have lost 3lbs I am so chuffed.

    Brunch: 2 scrambled eggs, tomatoes, 2 slices of brown bread
    D: Scampi, jacket potatoe, beans, fruit, yougurt.

    Well done to all losers & those who have managed to STS.

  • 3lb is brilliant earthstrong, well done you:T

    It's horrible here today, blowing a gale, raining and cold. Not the best of days to get my hair done but that's where I went this morning..... £25 for a cut and blow dry and I looked like a dead ringer for Ken Dodd on a bad day by the time I got home!!:eek:

    Food.... well warming wintery things are back on the menu. Was really pleased with myself yesterday for remembering to get tea out of the freezer first thing, bowl of chilli went down a treat when I got in from work soaked to the skin! Today I've had weetabix, veg soup from the freezer for lunch and it'll be more chilli for tea with a baked spud, a proper done in the oven one....yum! Tend to have them micro'd in the summer if at all, don't really like them, but doing lasagnes (for freezing)and an apple and blackberry crumble at the same time so won't be using all that electric just for one little spud!

    Should have been going out for a meal tonight but friend's got a cold so we've postponed until next week... obviously getting old when a nice bath, jim jams on and tea by the telly sounds so much more appealing when it's like this!!
  • Hi, feeling rubbish today :(

    Food yesterday
    B: 1x weetabix & 1xtoast L: eggy bread D: salmon, mash & mixed veg S: fruit, yogurt, 2 pieces of choc

    Food today
    B: none (in bed) L: toast, crisps & 2 bourbons D: tomato pasta S: fruit, yogurt

    Take care everyone xx

    Hello everyone,

    If my life gets any busier, there will be no room for me in it. Everything was going alright until Thursday. We took the boat out of the river (helped by others, and several boats to get out, not just ours), but afterwards it is traditional to buy all helpers a drink. I had a bottle of Magners follwed by 1/2 a portion of fish and chips at 9pm as it was too late to start cooking anything.

    Yesterday we went over to Liverpool to see "La Princesse". We got drowned. My waterproof coat is good, but it wasn't up to yesterday's weather, and the stuff in my pockets got wet. My feet were soaked and I could have rung my trousers out. We stopped for coffee and cake on the way back to the train station for a brief reprieve from the weather. DS fell asleep in his buggy and missed the whole thing.

    Today I did a circuit of the local outlet village, but slipped into Thorntons. Ooops. I forgot to weigh myself this morning, so I don't even have any idea if I have lost or gained.

    We're off to Center Parcs on Monday, so I won't be holding my breath for a loss next week either. We've hired bikes, but the forecast now says rain all week. Oh great! It's been my job to entertain ds today and also tomorrow while dh gets on with decorating. We'll be staying in tomorrow as I now have 3 loads of washing to iron!

    Take care all of you x

    Did you see La Princess moving? It looked fab on the news. I went down to see her on the side of concourse house but couldn't get off work yesterday to go down into town and see her on the move. I went over to the Tesco metro by work yesterday which is less than 5 mins walk and my feet were soaked through.

    I had a lovely HM rhubarb and apple crumble with custard tonight, my treat for the week is usually a proper pudding on a Saturday :D
