    Morning all,

Its like the Mary Celeste here at the moment! Well hunger certainly struck big time yesterday, I struggled all day but managed to get by with only having 3 ryvita spread with butter in addition to my normal plan so I am happy with that.

B: Porridge withskimmed milk and water
    L: HM veg soup
D: Quorn cottage pie with braised red cabbage, green beans and savoy cabbage

S: Probably won't have any as its WI tomorrow and I'm hoping to lose :)

    Have a great day all

its about 22 I think but hasn't always been that way. I was once 12 and a half stone. It took me nearly a year to get to my target and now I'm determined to stop there!:j

Well done all the losers, and I'm sure your new job will be dead rewarding frogga - as well as the perfect weightloss tool by the sounds of it!

I have been a hidin and a munchin since I last paid this thread a visit. My "holiday" was so stressful that I just relaxed a bit when I got home and have been doing nought but watching The Sopranos box set and eating biscuits. Decided to weigh myself today and start afresh tomorrow for September.

Am now 12 stone 13 pounds, so have put on 3 pounds. Luckily am still just below 13 stone - that would have been a bit painful if i busted through that barrier the wrong way!

Right. I am going to aim for 7 pound loss in September.

Food today - bad morning on the bikkies

dinner: tofu marinated in ginger, soy sauce and honey, then stirfried with butternut squash, served with satay noodles.

  • Hello everyone,

I have been lurking for a while since I found this thread and posted my first message. I managed to be good for about 12 days after getting my wii fit but then DS came down with chicken pox and was pretty poorly and with one thing and another (going to friends for tea, well it would be rude not to eat and drink to excess!! OH being fed up with job and opening bottles of wine etc etc) I fell of the wagon some what and didn't manage to exercise. Needless to say when I weighed in again I had put on 4lb:eek: so that was the 2lb I had managed to lose, and 2lb more:cry: . So I resolved myself to be much better and was, with only a couple of alcohol related slip ups! and then since 1st September have been sooooo unbelievably good:A (well I did eat half a curly wurly but that is my ONLY bad moment). I have written down everything I eat and exercised like it is going out of fashion, with at least 30 mins of aerobic wii fit every day, most days 30 mins RC GI jeans aerobics as well, and yesterday 30 mins swimming (40 lengths) too. So by my reckoning I should be losing weight hand over fist, so why have I only just about shifted 1 measly lb (according to wii fit)? It is sooo frustrating, but I WILL keep going as surely it has to come off if I keep going?

I guess I have to stop getting weighed every day, then I might see more of a result, but it is soooo tempting to see if it's all made a difference and then depressing when it hasn't. As I sit and type this I am starving!! Since my hubby started new job though I don't eat til late as he doesn't get home til about 8:30 - a question to you all, is it better to eat first, then exercise, or exercise first then eat? I tend to exercise when the kids are in bed, just before or after my hubby gets home, so we eat afterwards (gets quite late some nights!) Could this be slowing down my weight loss?

    Sorry, this post is enormous!!

Hello all, thanks for the praise - i totally deserve it :rotfl: Actually we all do because we're all trying and that's the secret - never surrender!!! A big well done though to all the losers and STS. An even bigger hug to the people who put on :A

Last couple of days have been interesting - i've been a little poorly so haven't been eating as much (not recommended), but i'm feeling more sprightly now.

    Food for tomorrow

    b - bagel and salmon
    s - jelly
l - tomato soup(tinned) and one bread and turkey
s - yoghout and cereal bar
d - pasta bake and beetroot

    kcals approx 1850 kcals

    Keep positive guys and gals.

    Hello everyone,

Forgot to weigh first thing this morning, had eaten breakfast and hair was still wet from the shower and I had put on 2 lbs, so disregarding that as I usually weigh first thing before I even have a drink...will leave it until next Friday now as diet is not very good at present...kitchen is a mess as there is work being done so we are eating out sometimes, which is not good for either weight or pocket!

    Today I have eaten:

    B...1 weetabix with banana, coffee;

    L...chicken, salad, chips, water;

T...3 slices bread and butter with sugar.

Snacks....8 chocolate tea cakes, 1 jaffa cake, coffee.

Kicking myself as I type...difficult manoeuvre that!

    Sleep well all

    Morning everyone,
Yet another misserable rainy day here. Doubt i'll be taking my little one to the park today, will have to find some other cheap way to entertain him. Ventured out yesterday to primark to get a few winter bits n pieces, spent more than i wanted but got loads of stuff that will do my little one through till march next year. Got loads of fleecy pjs for him (and for me)

    Today
    B - weetabix
L- OH brought some sarines home from work yesterday so that'll do me, for free too
T- HM tandoori chicken with naan

Today would normally be take away night if we had the spare cash, but as things are we wont be having any for a v v v v long time so i've been finding/making cheaper healthier alternatives, and tbh they are much nicer than take away version too.

    Have a good day everyone
