    Hello folks:hello:
I'm off work this week so posting may be a bit erratic!
Spent the day at the lotty - weeding  mostly, but we picked our first corncobs:drool:

Brekkie was porridge with apricots and dates
Lunch - salad, avocado, hummus and a slice of rye bread
Tea - pea, spinach and feta cake with homegrown courgettes, carrots and corn on the cob, followed by blackberry crumble and ice cream :p - not THAT bad, I made individual ones and didn't put much crumble on mine, (it was an oaty one so quite healthy!!!) and I only had 1 small scoop of ice cream AND I did stop OH going to the shop for a tub of cream or custard :T

If I get hungry later I might have a yoghurt or some fruit and I'll try to avoid the toad if he comes calling ;)

Hi all  well done to all losers and STS ers

Well my WI on Saturday said that I have lost 1 lb which is great even though I had hoped for more but I will take any loss I can muster :D

Been away for a few days so my eating was a bit erratic but I tried to be sensible where possible.

    Sat
B: Nothing, L: Quorn zorba with wholemeal pitta and lots of salad D: Tuna and red onion sandwiches, bag of french fries crisps and a Mr Kipling slice, S: small ice cream cone in the park
    Sun
B: Wholemeal toast and marmalade x 3 and small packet of cornflakes with ss milk, L: Nothing due to late breakfast, D: Channa balti with lemon rice and poppadoms, S: Not so much snacks but I had 2 vodka and lemonades and 4 Midori melon balls _pale__pale_
    Mon
B: Wholemeal toast and marmalade x 3 and a small packet of rice crispies with ss milk, L: Bean burger and a diet coke, D: Don't know yet, will probably end up being rubbish as we are both shattered after our manic weekend and long drive. We also have naff all in the freezer  as the new one arrives tomorrow so I used everything up.

Back on track tomorrow with normal eating and work, quite excited about my new freezer so this weekend will involve lots of cooking to re-stock it :D
  • it's another STS for me this week, 2nd week running, and again I'm just relieved I haven't put on.... amazed might be a more appropriate word actually!! Feeling much more positive than I have been so I'm going for 3.5lb off in September, very doable if only I can stay in the right frame of mind.....that's the tricky part!!

Happy Birthday for last week RS, and well done you for resisting:T

Nikki, best of luck with your appointment tomorrow, hope it helps xx

Keep up the good work everyone!

Still no toad in this house :T We took ds (aged 3 3/4) to the local bed superstore on Saturday to look for a new mattress for him. He took his shoes off when he saw all the beds, and went round the shop like a ping pong ball on speed, bouncing from bed to bed. I was trying to pretend he wasn't mine, but he kept shouting us! I need to lose weight as I feel I'm going to need a fair bit of energy to deal with him properly as he gets bigger and more energetic.

    Todays food :-
B: special K Sustain with yogurt (bought special K for work mornings, can't cope with a complicated breakfast just now and washing, dressing and breakfasting small person)
L : ham and mustard sandwich
D : chicken with potatoes and broccoli
S : carrot sticks, reduced fat houmous and raspberries

    Take care everyone
