Back on the trampette today (1300 jogs), had a slack day with it yesterday. Food was:
B - milky coffee
L - three small rashers bacon, fried egg, one buttered roll
D - chicken curry with rice
S - a whole Snickers and a nectarine
I didn't think I was going to eat a whole one, I cut it into four to have a piece a day but you know what the toad is like... so it's all gone. I shan't ask DH to get me another, as I'll only scoff it all at one sitting! I still can't be trusted when it comes to "nice" chocolate, maybe I'd better stick to the value stuff :rotfl:

Hi
Have sts this week. Very grateful for that as have been well and truly off the rails. Why is it when I'm at work I think it will be easier when I'm at home, but when I have a week off and can cook and prepare good food I don't. I can relate to all who have spoke about picking and not eating properly, it doesn't make sense but I do it time and again. I like diner, why do I then not organise myself to making it - in time and of good quality.
Bfast Tomatoe Sarnie (!)
lunch jacket spud, cottage cheese
dinner - visiting friends so will be bad - pizza and snacks. I will concentrate on the carrot and cucumber sticks and sit away from the dips.WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

We were worried about you MrsM. not like you to go MIA but you can still lose it can't you?? Have you ever had a gain week???? An inspiration to us all I think!!
Just taken the grandkids back, OH is asleep on the sofa  and I'm shattered:rolleyes:
They were really good, we had a looooonnnnng walk round the park this morning then picked a few blackberries for a pie, then had McD's for lunch  revolting stuff but OH and the kids love it!
DD is a lot happier, her dad is responding to treatment at long last, not out of the woods yet but they're more optomistic now.
I am going to be fully back on the wagon tomorrow:rolleyes: , I tried a dress on yesterday - MrT's sale. Now I don't normally 'do' dresses but his one was really nice, I tried on a 14, the bottom was perfectbut the top was a bit big :T sooooooo as it had a fullish skirt, I'm going to go back tomorrow and try on a 12 :j If the top is good then I think I might chance it to 'slim into';)
Not sure what I'm having for tea other than roast veggie, we have a glut of courgettes, peppers and tomatoes so I'll roast them off and the I'll have some for lunches in the week.
I did my bigshop yesterday and have got loads of nice but healthy stuff in now, freezer is groaning under the weight of HM ready meals and 'whoopsies'
See you tomorrow folks :A
:T GOOD LUCK WITH THE NEW JOB FROGGA:T

Hi all
After a picky couple of weeks and having a little moan about it here, I spent Friday evening rummaging through the freezer and kitchen cupboards to find out exactly what's there.......not only have I got a proper meal planned for every evening this week so I WON'T be picking, there's no need to go shopping all week either (apart from milk), so all in all I'm proper chuffed with myself for getting organised foodwise and saving a few bob on unnecessaries at the shops too!!:T Been good all weekend, let's hope my best laid plans for the week last beyond 10am tomorrow morning!
Decided we could wait forever for it to stop raining so got togged up in anoraks and boots this afternoon and went blackberry hunting..... didn't have to hunt very far, they were coming to us!! Brought a good couple of lb's home so will be stewing some up with apples.....no lethal crumble, just a blob custard:D ..... and I'll take the rest into work to nibble on.
New month tomorrow, hope everyone gets off to a good start....including me!!:p
Frogga, GOOD LUCK in your new job, got my fingers crossed for you!0 -

Good luck for tomorrow Frogga!!!
Another one well and truly back on the wagon here. I got on the scales yesterday after messing around with the idea of healthy eating for the last few months (tried, failed, tried, failed, tried and failed again, you get the idea), and to be honest I've scared myself silly. I weigh 15 st 6lbs!!!
When I joined this thread I was 14-12 or thereabouts. I have no excuses now, the family wedding is over, and I can get on with losing weight - I can't do it for specific occasions for some reason. I discovered this when I put weight on for my own wedding.
My weigh in day will be Saturday, and my target is to lose 7lbs at least in September. I'm on holiday the week after next, and we've hired bikes for the week and will be swimming regularly, so that should help. I've also gone back to calorie counting. I've tried slimming world and weight watchers. I haven't done well on either, but last time I wrote down what I ate and the calories in a book every day I did quite well.
Todays food :-
B : Poached egg and a quorn sausage on wholegrain toast
L : Roast chicken dinner
D : Cereal with low fat yoghurt
S : Carrot sticks and reduced fat houmous, raspberries
Take care all of you!0 -
Not been around the last few days but just wanted to say Hi and well done to all the losers and STSers and GOOD LUCK FOR TOMORROW FROGGA!
Cranky - I'm with you about the calorie counting. I have done a month without having a major binge, which is progress, so now I am going to try and do 2000 calories a day for a couple of weeks and then gradually reduce it to 1500. I got a big calorie dictionary thing and a new exercise book and pen!
Hope you have all had a great weekend! It was my birthday on Friday and I had lots of lovely gifts. I resisted the temptation to eat any cake until earlier on this evening when I had friends round for dinner and I had a small piece - so not too bad.Jane

Hi spendaholic, yeah i like keeping an eye on my kcals too - i definately find it helps to cook simple and easy foods like soup which fill you up, but are low in kcals.
I do find it hard to be honest when i'm binging though - still working at that - but i'm improving - one day at a time!!!!
