People who moan about putting kids in trollies!

Unfortunately I think they usually have a gap at the bottom of the door that the little darlings could crawl out underneath.Maybe those trolley lock-ups that some supermarket cafes provide could be utelised
Nice idea otherwise, though! Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Have any of you actually sat down a listen to what your saying?? :-/ :-/ :-/
First they are children "not a bactiria you cant clean"?
And have you actually read what you have written?
And when was the last time you checked your childrens shoes for dog poo or any other bodily fluids that carry germs such as vomit blood and spit?
Me and my family take our shoes off before entering the house as it's impossible to know what we can be treading in, and who wants to watch every outside step?
I personally think that shoes are for outside use and not for the food part of the trolly, and think I have every right not to have someone elses kids germs on my food, packaged or not.
I also buy items such as cards and magazines from the supermarket that are not packaged and I have to handle and in the case of envelopes, lick.
If that's ok for you then I am very happy for you, personally it's not good enough for me or my family.Waddle you do eh?0 -
I was an angel child ;D and my 2 brothers, we loved each other very much ::) when people were watching ;D and when they weren't use to knock 7 bell's out of each other
;D.
But we never went to the shops when we were young, we were either very poor or there weren' any shop's ;D supermarkets. ???
;D ;D ;D ;D0 -

Don't you pack your stuff in the carrier bags provided ???
then put them into your trolley, so your carrier bags are what actually come into contact with the botom of the trolley.

??? Huh? Carrier bags provided? do you mean at the checkout? Yeah, but how do you get the shopping there? I cant pack stuff in carrier bags as I'm shopping, I get followed by the security guards enough as it is!
Do you mean the little placky bags for veg and fruit? I cant put magazines in them, or packs of envelopes, I don't get what you mean, or am I being a bit dense?Waddle you do eh?0 -
I'm a fan of the Victorian method - children should be seen and not heard.
Why is it that parent's are so full of themselves they think other people are interested in what their little Johnny gets up too?
In my day if we'd behaved like half the kids you see today we'd have had a smacked backside - but that's the thing these days - too may do-gooders around who don't like to see people smacking their kids. (and before you all come down on me like a ton of bricks there is a vast difference between an occasional smack on the backside and physical abust)
Never did me any harm, at least I know the difference between right and wrong, which cannot be said for a large percentage of todays "yoof" population.0 -
On sunday I took my daughter (5) to the supermarket. (she doesn't sit in the trolley anymore
)
She took her coppers from her moneybox and changed them into one of those vouchers to spend. She chose to buy a fancy bauble for the Xmas tree.
I paid for my shopping at the till and she queued to pay after me (with the voucher). There was no-one else at the till (basket only checkout) there were lots of empty tills. A woman in her 60 came over carrying a kettle, stood in front of my daughter and put it down on the counter.
The man on the till said that my daughter was before her to which she raised her eyebrow and said "pah".
>:( >:( >:(
Now normally I would have dragged the woman outside by her hair but I let it go
It's people like her who moan that children don't know the value of money and are badly behaved, yet whinge and whine when we try to teach our kids how to shop and be courteous .Just run, run and keep on running!0
