  • Blue pop is yummy tescos still do it and they do a green on as well ;D ;D
Its on the top shelf so if i want to buy it I have to stand in the trolley LOL ::) ::)
    Trav :-*
  • In response.
Yes of course I mean a small piece, a steaming turf would be less of a problem as it would be easily spotted obviously.
Yes if I dropped money I would pick it up and use it, no if I dropped food I would not, thereby is the difference.
Yes my children did play in parks and on slides and got very mucky indeed, but, again, I would not roll my food around in a park nor push it down a slide, again my point, although I would thought obvious is that children belong in parks with their shoes and not in trollies with food, my exact point.
If we stopped for a picnic I would clean their and my hands before we ate.
I did not make an assumption about your hygeine, you said 'they are children not bacteria you cant clean' I asked if you regularly checked your childs shoes?
Most of us do not unless they have an obvious 'steaming turf' as you put it, pointing out that the last thing parents do before placing their kids in trollies is look at their shoes, but I'm sure you will tell me otherwise.
You say this thread is about the safety of kids, no, dur, read the thread, it's about people who moan about putting kids in trollies, and as I started that thread it's directly about me actually.
My comment 'it may be good enough for you but not for me' is about this thread, again see above, I mean putting your food in a trolly that has had a kids shoes in is not good enough for me, you disagree with me so strongly that you have started a thread on it, so therefore I am in the right, putting your food and kids in trollies is good enough for you and not me.
That is based on the threads we have both started and not your personal hygeine, whoever you are.
This is the vent board and I wanted to vent my anger about something that cheeses me off, I didn't think I'd have to defend myself against a thread that was a direct attack, if that's what you mean by not dishing it if I can't take it I fail to see how I can be accused of dishing it.
I was not talking about you when I said about people feeding their kids in supermarkets or swearing at their kids, I was talking of a man I saw in ASDA last week, so unless you live in Essex, stink, weigh about 25 stone and have a daughter called destiny, sorry, destinaaaaay, I most certainly was not talking about you so stop taking everything I say as a personal insult.
You say you are defending your right to place your kids in the food part of the trolly, you actually do not have that right at all, its again all supermarkets policies, including ASDA who the original thread was about, please see their email posted on said thread.
As I said my first post on this thread was about putting kids in trollies not your personal hygeine, again I was 'under attack' before my first comment as this threat was in retaliation to my thread.
And for the record, I do not in any way think I am better than anyone else, and would under no circumstances would I imply that, in exactly the same way I would never be rude to anyone on a chat forum.
So stick that in your trolly and shove it. :P
    Waddle you do eh?
  • If fact it may shock you to know I did not know or care who started that thread and for you to take it personally well You need to get out more often!

I simply saw a long load of vents some good some bad so started my own post in defence of us who do put our children in trolleys because we have no other choice.
i did not as i said before start this argument to dig at you and you tread before, i simply challenged anyone to help find a solution you had your say and i did not once go onto your thread looking to turn it into a silly fight and clearly stated in my last post that this page is not about right or wrong just opinions.
I suggest you stop trying to start a fight because you are bored and offer constructive advice if you cant do that then vent you issue on the post clearly designed for your argument I believe you know the link!

    Trav
  • Oh whatever, I can't be botherd with you anymore, you barely make sense anyway.

What would shock me would be if you actually put something useful on here for a change.

ew, i thought of this thread today when i went to the loo in asda - a woman was in there a while and smelled pretty bad so i think we can assume what she was doing, then she didn't wash her hands!! she came out of the loo while i was washing then we both went to get our trolleys from the greeter person who was watching them, and continued to shop. she didn't wash her hands and then she put her hands on the trolley that everyone else will be touching when they do their shopping after her - ewwwwwww!

  • Oh yuk!
I can't think about that or I will end up shopping in plastic gloves!

That reminds me of when I went on a school trip and one of my classmates didn't wash her hands after going to the loo.
Someone said eeeww you didn't wash your hands, so she said, that's because I didn't wee on my hands!
    Waddle you do eh?
  • Is that an apology Trav?
