And when was the last time you checked your childrens shoes for dog poo or any other bodily fluids that carry germs such as vomit blood and spit?
Me and my family take our shoes off before entering the house as it's impossible to know what we can be treading in, and who wants to watch every outside step?
I also buy items such as cards and magazines from the supermarket that are not packaged and I have to handle and in the case of envelopes, lick.
If that's ok for you then I am very happy for you, personally it's not good enough for me or my family.

So hate to show that one of us is just being ridicules here however if you insist :-/

About a year ago (PROVEN ON NEWS) they tested a handful of coins if a supermarket till on those coins They found

" blood saliva urine faeces seaman animal saliva animal faeces" and to be honest lots more stuff this was just the tip of the iceberg an you don't even want to hear what was in a bowl of peanuts in a pub!!!!! :P :P

So what im trying to say is your more open to infections than you think?
Am I the only one who has heard of the lady who licked her envelope got a paper cut and her tongue was infected with cockroach eggs (WHICH hatched again medically proven ) so to be honest I don't lick envelopes nor stamps we wet them with a sponge and for good hygiene, not to mention the glue is made with fish (ew why lick) :P :P we buy them pre-sealed as I don't know whose been touching them! Maybe it is you who need to re-evaluate your hygiene habits not me.
So will that be cash or charge!

I was an angel child ;D and my 2 brothers, we loved each other very much ::) when people were watching ;D and when they weren't use to knock 7 bell's out of each other ;D.

But we never went to the shops when we were young, we were either very poor or there weren' any shop's ;D supermarkets. ???

Why is it that parent's are so full of themselves they think other people are interested in what their little Johnny gets up too?

In my day if we'd behaved like half the kids you see today we'd have had a smacked backside - but that's the thing these days - too may do-gooders around who don't like to see people smacking their kids. (and before you all come down on me like a ton of bricks there is a vast difference between an occasional smack on the backside and physical abust)

Never did me any harm, at least I know the difference between right and wrong, which cannot be said for a large percentage of todays "yoof" population.

I am a firm believer of a smack bum In extreme cases Yes today's society is going to rat !!!!!! however it is the nicely nicely approach to crime that makes it that way.
BUT lets face it the prisons are full of old rotting priests who would abuse the children of your precious past So you keep your Victorian ways and their outdated ideas when my children grow up it will be because they wanted to not because they where forced into it by some totalitarian hypocrisy

PS on a good note my children will be the ones who will have to work to keep their peers in pensions or had you forgotten that children are the future.

my god, are you for real? i agree re the smack and physical abuse, but the rest of it is a step backwards
from the ope atmosphere we have created with our kids, where they can come to us.

do you have a link for the info about dirt on money? just wondering because i read an article about hygeine recently (i think it was in Zest magazine) which said that notes are dirty but coins are safe because the copper in them kills off bacteria.
