That's terrible news about the cat Ginham, hope it's alright and you must report it to the police, it could be a child that gets hit next time (not that shooting a cat isn't bad)

Morning all :) Harvested our crop of peas from the bottom of the garden last night and sat outside shelling them for ages with Mr Cakie, it was fun and different. We then blanched, cooled and dried them before freezing over 1kg of them.........pity I don't like peas !!!

    hi everyone

not read the thread so will do that in a minute -although Gighams cat story caught my eye - that's awful.

I'm feeling like an emotional mess today - just want to burst into tears. I think it's the hormones. Sorry to moan, I have no idea what's going on with me at the moment. thin i'll take myself off and pull myself together.

    Morning all,

Dull and not too warm here to-day...off to airport to pick up DS1, DDIL1 and DGD2 at around 1...have to sort the kitchen first as DD4 has been sorting the bedrooms...all the tribe here this weekend so some will be on mattresses on floors...think I have sorted dinner as spag bol sauce made, so should be fine.

Gingham...I hate cruelty, do report to police!

Beemuzed...enjoy the wedding anniversary...beat you by 2 weeks!

Vicky...enjoy NZ....was at Auckland airport in 1997 for 7 hours...hope to really visit sometime.

Really need to get to kitchen....back later maybe, hugs to all in need or want,

    Marie

    Hi all
    Just popped back to say:-
Squiggly, thanks but BIL is still in a mess, but I've put in on my blog to save boring everyone on here.
    Hilstep, Yay that's good news
Tired mum, I always found my kids bickered for the first week, then they seemed to sort out a pecking order & things got better, I hated the short hols tho, as they still bickered for a week.
GR, lovely to see you back, so sorry to hear about your cat though.
Right, I'm off to Lidls, see you all later.
    Hugs Hester

Hi all - another quickie from me for now because I'm definitely in 'hurried-woman-syndrome' today! I haven't read any of the thread but will try to this afternoon. I've just got back from shopping and DH wants me to run a few errands for him staight after lunch to pick up materials for his work so I won't get a chance to post until late this afternoon.

Hope everyone is having a good day; (((hugs))) to all those in need.

    Weird weather today, isn't it?

Will catch up with you all later.

    KathyXX

Just seen the Happy Anniversary to Mr and Mrs Beemuzed - same from me, too. Have a great day!
