Gingham, hope your cat is OK. My friend's cat had to have its tail amputated because some little s*d had swung it around by it
Jannyannie , do you have any problems with break-ins at your allotment. Ours were broken into on Saturday night, and then again on Wednesday night. They don't take anything, but break the locks off all the sheds to check inside. I am just waiting for them to start taking the food - as things get tougher because of the credit crunch :mad:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
:hello:
Mornin

charlies-mum I was in a sorting out mood on Wednesday, found a whole load of things, mainly stuff that had`nt been worn(mine),;) still had label`s on just did`nt fit, and a lot of OH`s stuff, shirts,T shirts, trousers and some shoes he had never worn, ended up with 2 bags full for charity and 1 for the tip.
They all went out yesterday for Birmingham Childrens Hospital. Loads of space now, just got to be strong and not buy any more....as OH says "You dont have to fill every cupboard and drawer in the place,it is allowed to have empty ones".....
I have stripped the bed and got a white load in the WM for a good boil, need to give the bedrooms a turn out today, beef, little pots and loads of veg for dinner tonight, fruit for lunch, OH is out at DS2`s workshop so I am all alone AAAHHH,
I quite like it when I want to get things done, then when he comes in all is clean and tidy, dinner is almost done, then we can sit and chat, or go out if we want to.
Right up and at it,
Back later
Anne

Gingham - Hope your cat is okay, how awful
Beemuzed - Happy Anniversary!
Okay, I have some super duper REALLY good news. It *looks* like I am managaing to clear my overdraft:j _party_. For the first time in a long time my balance reads -£2.. AND I still have another paycheck due before my rent, bills etc go out. I rang the agency to ask how much holiday pay I have and the answer was over £400!!! Plus I've got alomst £100 in savings (just fom actually SAVING the money that I don't spend on shopping etc). I have decided that if I earn over £200 , that extra money will go straight into my 'want' account, as I did the overtime, to buy the things I want. Then I will save £25 (more than 10%) a week into my 'need' account, so the emergency fund etc is taken care of.
Yaaaay financial independence!
Off to work in a minute, and I made apple flapjacks last night. They are lovvvvvely, but I will double the amount of flapjack used next time
Hope you all have a good day! :beer:We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

Doing a few bits this morning then heading to the beach this afternoon, will take some sausages and burgers and have our tea down there.
OH out at the moment but will be back later and he hasnt got to work tonight so he will be able to come with us.
Probably wont get much ironing done today, think will leave the bulk of it until it gets cooler.
Have a great day.

fizzel Toothpaste is a good standby until you get something for the ulcer. I get them from pineapple which I love.

Well my ploy has worked. DGS has just nodded off and it's not quite 7.30pm. :T :beer:The little darling. Now, we shall all send up a little prayer that he will wake up at 7am and not before.
