Oh I'm going to bite the bullet and join in too
... but I will definately need lots of nagging!
At the moment I'm recovering from a gall bladder removal...well it was removed weeks ago and everything seems to have gone wrong since...I was one of the unfortunate ones that got complications
I'm due back at work in September, only me and hubby left at home now... so I'm busy throwing stuff out... or Ebidding it... or charity shopping it...
It would be lovely to get rid of 30 years of accumulated clutter... don't think I'll manage it all in the 6 weeks... but hey... I can try :T:TA family that eats together, stays together

I am going to becoming a naturist to save on washing, drying and ironing.
Only kidding:rotfl:
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: lol scattymam1, got to clean the tea from my screen now.
Today I will be tackling the kitchen   , and I could be there for sometime,:rotfl: , if I remember rightly we haven't seen the kitchen table for at least 2 months:o . Full of beady lovelies and mounds of paperwork to sort and kids work books, I could go on but I think you get the picture.
Right I could be sometime, but I will be back.:j DEBT FREE FROM 01/01/11 :j

Well, three hours back at my desk and I've been through 1 drawer in one of my filing cabinets! Only 7 more to go! I completely filled a recycling bag and the shredder needs emptying too. Washing is dry, so ironing later - I'd love to empty the basket before we go away, but that's a fond hope I feel. Need to go and look for a suitcarrier or similar now.
Dinx - I hope we don't have to send out a search party for you!Resolution:

Hmmmmm - I'm just doing 'standard' cleaning today, but that's good because I HATE cleaning.
I am going to add acouple of things tho: write a to-do list.
De- flea the cat's bed/furniture where they go etc.
Oh! the joys of pets.....Save me from spending...

Well, after being up for half the night, I have managed to make 28 muffins to eat now and the rest for the freezer and a large tray of flapjack...also to go in the freezer.
I've thrown a load of old baking tins out that really should have been chucked years ago... why do I find it so difficult to throw things away?!
I've listed some more things on Ebid and... well... thats about it :rotfl:
Right... airing cupboard next I think...piles of old towels and sheets that need throwing out.
See you all later....:DA family that eats together, stays together

Hi All, this thread has grown since I was on last week. I made good use of the few good weather days and got all the bed linen washed. Cleared out some junk from the youngests room. She's claimed 3 Ikea wooden framed mirrors (that I stored under her bed years ago and had rather a lot of dust on them!) for her room and wants to paint them pink. I found a red sample paint pot and a white one so that'll get them used up and out of the way! I got rid of a bag of clothes to charity and I'm going to sort through a pile of things tonight that need ebayed and put them into one box, tomorrow get them photographed and then the next day get them on ebay.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

I am knackered. Am going to put my feet up for five but I'm going to use the time to have a flick through my anthea turner perfect housewife book for tips on getting organised.0

Airing cupboards done...I just got a few large black bags and chucked most of it in :rotfl:
I can't be a***ed today... it's too hot :rotfl:
Think I'm going to take a leaf out of scatty's book and 'take five'... although I don't have a copy of anthea turners book...is it any good?
just remembered... whilst doing the airing cupboard I found rather a large pile of hubby's socks...I wondered where they'd gone to!A family that eats together, stays together

What is it with socks? having also tackled the airing cupboard I've now thrown away 27 odd socks - no partners in drawers or anywhwere else!
Well folks, I'm away for several days from tomorrow, so it's all up to you to ensure the thread doesn't sink into oblivion - I've still loads to get done when we return!Resolution:
