Right 8.41- nothing done this weekend so today I am going to plough through it all like a raging bull on speed. Have lots to keep the child occupied. I'm gonna write some lists by 9.00 and then take a timer round to speed me up a bit. Gonna aim to be all tidy and clean by 3.00 and then I'll have from 3.00 til 5.30 to sort the tea and do some paper organising, online banking, budget planning and goal setting. When my husband comes homes tonight he's going to drop dead with shock. Anyone having the same feelings today with it being a monday? I have 3 weeks left.

On the upside I have a new organising tool for my nintendo ds - it's a health coaching program to organise my diet and exercise and track my progress and keep me motivated and so far it looks like I could get quite organised there, so off I go...

Gonna ban myself from computer until 12.00 also.

    Good luck Scattymam 1

I was going to start today but have woken up feeling really unwell, so am unsure how much will get done today.

Vivw - hope you've felt better as the day's gone on - it's miserable feeling unwell.
Scattymam1 I'm with you in the need to step up a gear! However, I have my young niece and nephew in tow this week - long time since my children were at home! so have to exercise patience and charm as I entertain them whilst still trying to get things done! No too successful today as we've been out for several hours, visiting the local museum, playpark and a picnic lunch to boot! I feel totally shattered! Washing is up to date and i've sorted some financial papers so am progressing at snail's pace!

    How's it all going?

Just added up how many days of the holiday we had [including weekends] and it was 40 . Then worked out what day it was and its day 22. Therefore 18 more days left. Need to plan so I get the most from them.

Nothing done here today I'm afraid - we took young niece and nephew up to London. Rain rather spoiled things but we did walk past Big Ben, the London Eye, up Whitehall to Trafalgar Square, along to Buckinham Palace and finally to the Natural History Museum. That was awful - just one long queue everywhere! Anyway, all back safely and now watching a Harry Potter DVD. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to get back on track!

DD1 has been home and kicked me into gear. We cleared a small part of the loft and did two boot sales, raising £200.
This was mostly camping gear of which we had an abundance.
Paperwork has been filed and last year's papers put into bundles and high up in the study joining the previous year's paperwork. Next year I'll have to chuck the damn*d stuff.
Made an exciting goo-ey paper mache gloop from the till receipts etc from 18 months ago and that has joined the grass cuttings in the compost heap.
Must say that did give me some satisfaction. Sad I know.

  • Hi there,
I haven't posted on this before but I've been reading with fascination and you inspired me! So thanks to everyone I have blitzed three rooms - I've lost count of the bin bags that have gone to the charity shop or the tip - how on earth could I lovingly store so much rubbish???
At the moment we are decorating the kitchen and dining room, having already completed the sitting room.
So thank you to everyone - esp Beemuzed for starting the thread - my house is ready to start accepting the rubbish that will be brought home over the coming year, but just for the moment we look like a 'normal' home !!!
Thanks to this fantastic site and it's amazing people, we have paid over £63, 000 off - just over half way!!!
    :T THANK YOU:T
