Evening everyone,
i`ve just eaten a huge spag bol so i`m waiting for it to settle before walking the houndies and sorting out the kitchen.
Pippa.S - i hate ironing and i`ve left it until the pile of clothes was huge and DH was walking round all wrinkly
The last few days we`ve been having some unpleasant phonecalls, well more of a nuicance really. I think that someone has dialled wrongly and now our number must be on a redial or something as the same person has rung for the last few days, it`s always a bloke cursing and swearing.
DH has answered the last few calls and just put the phone down but after the second one today when i was home along i lost my rag a bit and dialled 1471. I rang the number and asked the man who answered why he kept ringing me but he sounded like he`d been in the pub all day and just did the usual swearing.
I`m afraid i wasn`t very nice to him  but i`ve not had a call back since.:D
I wonder if he`d appreciate a couple of calls at 4am when i get up for w*rk, i could set off my panic alarm down the phone to wake him up a bit:D
Better get a move on or i`ll be up all night instead of sleeping, last of the chores now then houndie walking and then the garden needs watering before i shower myself.
Have a good evening everyone.

SUNNYDAY, when I have unwanted calls I put the phone aside, did not hang up, and left it for a ages. The person phoning cannot redial/hang up or phone anyone else and the best bit is their phone bill is going up and up and up.0 -
Hi guys.
Happy birthday Haribo, I hope you are enjoying your BBQ. :j Belated birthday wishes to Taplady and Snowy and to anyone else I have missed, I hope you had good ones too.
I am feeling a lot better, thank you all for your pm's and good wishes, I just felt so manky over the weekend and offloaded on you lovely lot - sorry
It has been a struggle to work but as I am on relief now it's no work - no pay and each day I am feeling better so have got there in the end. I have still got a horrendous chest but will go and see the GP next week if it does not improve.
It is DD's 7th birthday today and she appears to have had a good time, Lots of pressies from the family and a little party. She's had loads of arty stuff and I bought her a Barbie scooter thingy with a secret drawer full of nail varnish (I will probably regret that one) and lip gloss. I had a moment last night doing her card on how to sign it and finally settled on love from mum and dad. She read the little poem aloud and then stopped before the bit I had written and read the rest quitely, so I hope I did the right thing but it just didn't feel right his name not being there.
The house is a !!!!!! tip and the kids have practically empty drawers so a big clean tomorrow and 'that' ironing pile. I also want to nip to Asda to get their uniforms for September as I believe they are in - LOL that sounds so easy but I will no doubt be frazzled by the end of it. While I am in town I need to take the probate thingy to Eric's bank and finally close that and also bank a cheque I recieved for the cancelled car insurance helpfully made out to the executor of his estate.
Saturday I am taking the kids out for the day, not too sure where yet but I promised DD a treat and so will sort that out tomorrow.
Congratulations to all who are celebrating for various reasons today and very gentle hugs to those in need.

Hi elona, I have managed to lose 8lbs but it is slow going, I am a member of Murphy`s no more pies club, they are very supportive and we all weigh in once a week. I have read some of Ted`s posts, he is a very interesting and knowledgeable guy.
I noticed you are a wooligan too :T

Ive managed to lose 1 stone 2lbs all on my own (i am proud of myself!!). Ive managed to do it by cutting out the snacks, making sure i eat a healthy breakfast, and apart from my large cup of tea first thing in the morning, i only drink water.
I do have the odd glass of wine, if i have a desert i have a portion half the size i would really like, and will also have a square or 2 of chocolate if i fancy it. That way i dont feel like im missing out. Ive noticed that i really dont want to eat as much now and if i am hungry between meals, instead of eating the crisps, biscuits and chocolate, i go for fruit or nuts and seeds - like i said, i can treat myself after dinner if i really want to, but now 14 weeks down the line, i dont always bother!!0 -
