Evening anyone who is still reading!

Have been a bit distracted by the pics of the men!

jannyannie - i used to take my kids to a beach where you could only get to after you parked and walked down windy path. It was lovely, nothing at the bottom except pebbles and rock pools, no amusements, cafe etc. The way to get them back up the hill was to say, if you are quick the ice cream man might still be there. When I look back on summers now, this is the place I remember the most, a group of us used to go, was great, spent all day there with a picnic. DD was only saying the other day she hopes she can do something like that with her DD when she is older.

Catowen - you must be proud of your DS, what a lovely thing he did at the service - hes a true gent

Sunnyday - its not nice getting 'iffy' phone calls, I used to get ones where he was asking what colour knickers I had on, in the end I asked 'does mummy know you are using the phone', he never rang again. Also had some horrendous ones when DD was being bullied but the police were involved then and we had to ring a number after we got the calls, nothing ever came of them, police spoke to the callers and they promised not to do it again, didnt make us feel any better after 6 months of abuse!!!

Smoky- glad you are feeling a bit better and that DD had a good birthday, it was bound to be a difficult time for you, think you did right saying the card was from mum and dad, cos after all, he may not be with you now, but he will always be her dad. And remember, offload to us anytime, and make sure you go to Drs if you are no better soon.

Spose its bedtime now, I really do have a problem with this not working thing, keep thinking I dont have to get up so no need to go to bed, but I DO have to get up, I need to keep a routine so that when I eventually work again I will be able to get up:eek: at :eek:o'clock in the morning.

nite nite to all, cyas in the morning xxxxxxxxxxx
