    Morning All

Have a great Birthday Haribo

Redruby - good news about the dogs
Poppyoscar - hope the trip goes well.
(((Hugs))) to anyone who needs one

Late posting but have been up since 5.30 as had to take OH to the hospital 45 mins away for his operation, DS was not impressed with this the first day of his holidays. The temperature was showing in my car at 8am as 20 so its going to be baking today.

Now just need to wait for the hospital to call so I can pick up OH, they couldnt give me any indication of how long that will be so think will check online banking then give myself the rest of the day off. Will try and get some housework done this morning before it gets unbearably hot.

Lamb chops for tea tonight which I must take out of the freezer now.

    Have a good one.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARIBO

    Happy-Birthday.jpg HOPE THIS HELPS

If Haribo doesn't want him I have several things he could be getting on with here!

Tired Mum - glad you're feeling better today.

RedRuby - I hope your DH is careful in the sun especially if he's up on a roof. My DH is plastering someone's front room today which will be hot and sticky work but not as bad as being on a roof! Glad the news about the dogs is good.

Beth - so sorry you are still losing sleep due to your arms; let's hope it won't be long until everything is working properly.

Well, I've made a sultana yoghurt cake and a chocolate malteser yoghurt cake, prepped the bits for the carbonara, hoovered downstairs, cleaned the bathroom and I'm just about to go to the bank but DH just popped back to get something that he had, as usual, forgotten (luckily he's only working five minutes drive away) and told me that the traffic is backed up all the way to the village so I shall leave it for another half an hour and go the long way round. The traffic should be easier now that the schools here have just broken up but there may have been an accident somewhere.

I have some office work to get on with and then some more favours to make - how I wish I'd really got my a**e in gear months ago because I've just realised I want to make a wedding card as well and I don't want to rush that. I think I might invite myself along on their honeymoon! They're staying in a luxury villa in Marbella that belongs to friends of ours; we've stayed there twice before and it's gorgeous with a fantastic swimming pool and a backdrop of mountains - watching the sun rising over them first thing in the morning is magical. I love Marbella and nearby Puerto Banus which is wear all the beautiful people moor their luxury yachts; we just go and stare at them! From Marbella you can also go high up into the mountains to a place called Ronda which is fantastic and so typically Spanish - we fell in love with it.

Anyway, back to reality. I'd better get a move on so I'll pop back later.

    Happy Birthday Haribo_party__party__party_

(((hugs))) to folks who are poorly, feeling down or have family taking advantage (!). I know that last one and refuse to pick up after my stepson at weekends. He has a bath or shower on the Sunday and usually leaves everything where he drops it. I used to pick up and also tell him but now I leave it. DH usually clears it up now. There is a T shirt still on the floor in the back bedroom since Sunday but I'm not picking it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Rant over.

Lovely and sunny but hope it doesn't get too hot. I have washing out on the line and it's a lovely temp out there at the moment.

Finally finally painted the fiddly bits in the downstairs loo yesterday. Just need DH to take off the radiator so I can do behind it but I've moved stuff back in there now rather than being in the hallway.

Tea tonight is going to be chicken caesar salad - chicken is frozen left overs from a couple of weekends ago.

Lazy day today as off to Scotland tomorrowsport-smiley-001.gif Long day in car as we are taking a TV up to DS in Glasgow before going through to Edinburgh.

    Hope everyone enjoys their day

Morning all, baking here at the mo, really must finish getting the pool back up. Usually it goes up at Easter, but weather has been so grotty up till now, well except for a very short spell, sure I remember a bit of sun earlier in the year!

dd2 and dd3 have a dance show tonight, charity fund raiser, seems like I've been co-opted onto the charity board as well! It'll be nice to watch them, it's all children from the village in it, good job we've got so many kids here.

Washing almost under control, dd1's job at the mo as she wants to earn extra pocket money to go shopping with her friend on Saturday. BM did extra runs yesterday, want to have a go at brioche later so must get some choc to go in them when I bake them. DW was ds's job last night, not done properly so he can sort it out when he gets up - best go check he's actually here in a bit, think he was looking after his mates pigs for a few days, so he might be off feeding them or the chickens!

Hoovering all done, courtesy of dd1 again, so not too much to do, think I might strip all the beds whilst its such nice weather and give all the duvets an airing.

Off to Asda in a mo to get a couple of plain t shirts for the girls for the show, then it'll be back and forth to rehearsals and the show, and hours round trip each time, must grab some neighbours to share lifts.

No idea what we'll be eating, sarnies I expect for lunch and hopefuly a barbie tonight if we're not too late.

Hope everyone has a lovely day xx

    Morning everyone

    Happy Birthday Haribo :bdaycake: _party__party_:dance::dance:_party__party_

I would also like the balloon man if she doesn't want him, but I don't like balloons so am afraid he would have to pop it before he came in ;)

Pixie - I caught my finger in a car door when I was 18, shows how much it hurt as I can still remember after all these years, give your lo a big (((hug))) and sympathy from me please.

Wmf - I thought that first bit of your post was me writing :rotfl:I too have stopped picking up after stepdaughter, she even leaves cupboard doors and drawers open. I used to run round after her, now I get 'that look':eek:and OH rushes round, more fool him I say. I did pick up two wet towels from the bedroom floor after she had gone last week but only because they would have started smelling and its a very small bungalow we live in.

I must say I am getting very jealous of all these posts about the great weather, it has been warm here, even hot at times, but the sun seems to be a bit shy.

Ex boss from last week has said he will pay me on Friday, but I have to go to collect, fair enough. Had to do another typing test at the agency yesterday, luckily I didn't have to retake the numeracy and literacy ones as I think my brain has gone a bit mushy lately. While I was in town I treated myself to a haircut, couldn't really afford it, but it really needed doing and has made me feel a lot better too.

Today, when I get my backside into gear, I am going to bake some cakes, not sure what yet, do a pot of chilli for the freezer, go to the library and generally clean around. OH not back tonight and I cooked double cheesy/bacon pasta last night, so will probably have that cold with some salad.

(((hugs))) for those in need of one.

    Have a good day

PS while I have been typing this the sun has come out :j:j:j
