Morning all,
looks like another lovely day here too.
Happy Birthday Haribo!!!!!!!! (21 again....) :j  :T :bdaycake:
PPixiedust - hope DS's finger is a bit better today, that must have been very painful??
Snowy, shame it doesn't look like something long-term, but equally it sounds like you had an interesting first day!
(((troo))), just quietly do your own things & not theirs rather than get into a big confrontation about it even. Then let them all notice.... As Kathy says, you are not alone - I remember you motivating me when I was fed up with my DD's.
Aussie, the weather's beautiful hereSounds like you have been (or will be) busy generating your own power to run your sewing machine. Glad to hear your sis is doing well & good for you too on the cholesterol. Never had mine done, hate to imagine what it is.
Twink - will you do my ironing too please
Celyn, great news on the GP front, well done for confronting your fears too.
(((((betheebee, candygirl, jayward, anniestar, smoky, penpin, troo, chrisca, tiredmum)))))) and anyone I've (very unintentionally) forgotten.
MFI coming to replace 4 month old dishwasher today (the welding has failed on other one apparently!) and a friend coming around 11ish for coffee (to cheer me up). Plus letters for the office to type today. Too hot to feel motivated to do loads of OSing but will make some granary bread in the BM I think & perhaps a traybake cake for friend & her DS's.

Morning all
Happy Birthday Haribo.
Lazy day here for me today, I shall spend the day practising making things from flannels, Whatatwit was kind enough to point out the thread on here. It's part of the Special Occasions thread. I shall do my shopping today rather than tomorrow now as I'm out of museli & I shall put some washing on as it looks like it's going to be a nice day.
The wedding favours look great, my DD used love hearts in hers too.
Have a great day.
Hugs Hester

morning all,
Happy Birthday Haribo  , have a great day xx
Another beautiful day here, its supposed to be the hottest of the year so far, my poor oh is putting a new roof on a house, and is swealtering (is that a word ?) in this heat.
Well the good news is that the doggies are home, bil went to pick them up last night, two vet nurses carried them out and when the dogs saw bil they went mad, jumping all over him, I think they thought they were in there for good, they are on the road to recovery, still have to take it easy but the worst is over, they had a huge vet bill, but at least the dogs are fine, they still do not know what the poison was, we will hopefully find out, thanks for all the good wishes xx
We went to the beach last night with our fish and chips, oh sat while I power walked, and my dd and her friend paddled, they each had a pair of friends flip flops on, and when we went to come home, someone had stolen both pairs  , so the poor girl has no shoes to go home in, I have a pair she can have, but they are not as nice as hers.
Off to w**k again today, then sainsbugs delivery tonight, lemon chicken with rice and peas for tea , then an early night with my book, ( i know how to live)
Hugs to smoky, beth, jayward, chrisca, candy and all in need.
Have good days all xx0 -
