Morning...
Happy Birthday Haribo.
Well done Aussie on getting the cholesterol down.
Pixie, hope Lo's finger improves, is it the sight of blood that he does not like?
Looks lovely out there and I'm golfing today, think I'd better plaster on the sun cream or I may regret it later.
Hugs to those in need.

Aussie - not bad results healthwise. What do you do with the seagrass?
KathyXX
DH washes it thoroughly and uses it as mulch on the veggie garden.
Tea is cooking now. Having soup, lentil flan & veggies & dessert. Still bucketing down. Sounds like your having a bit more summer atm. The local news is on now and reports of flooding. Surprise.

Hi everyone
Busy morning ahead as on a flight out of Heathrow this afternoon, off to see OH for two weeks.
I'm excited and scared and worried all at the same time; he seems much better than he was a month ago (yes - it's really a month since 'that' night) and i'm hoping some time together is what the doctor ordered. Certainly is for me.
I know that at any point I can get on a flight back home again, but I don't actually have any worries about my safety. I just can't wait to see him.
Anyway, hugs and happy birthdays and get well soons all round - not sure if i will be online while i'm away. taking the laptop, but can't always get a connection. I'll be thinking of you anyway (well - some of the time!!!!)

Morning all
Happy Birthday Haribo  Hope you have a fantastic day (whatever you get up to)
Hugs to all in need.
Gorgeous morning in my bit of Kent at the moment - the sun is shining and there's a lovely cool sea breeze blowing in the patio doors. It's the first official day of our school hols here now both DD's have broken up so we're heading for the beach. I just need to pack a picnic and find some shorts, and the girls body boards, buckets, spades, balls, bats, towels, sun cream, hats, sunglasses, wind break, book, beach shoes........I'll have another cup of tea first!
Dinner this evening will be something on toast - can't be faffed with cooking in this heat and the girls love their once a week toasty tea - so do I cos they make it themselves!
Went to buy DH a new suit for his new job, on tuesday, managed to pick up an outfit for DD2 in next clearance for £3 - long snuggly jumper and leggings, a cardi for DD1 for £2, a new coat for DD2 for £9 and then in matalan a very pretty proper summer dress each - all swirly and girly - for £4.50 each!!! :j (Got DH's suit as well but suits are boring)
Spent most of yesterday making wedding favours with a friend, she's gone a bit OTT with them but it's what she wanted - we made 12 up fully - only another 83 to go  She very kindly left the stuff with me to get on with  .
Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Hippo Birdie Haribo!!! Have a great day _party_
I have come downstairs to the most horrendous smell in my living room! Uggggggh. I think it might be my old computer - I plugged it all in last night, as all my docs are on it, but after 10 minutes it froze and the screen went funny. So I restarted it, but instead of just going 'beep' when it loads Windows, mine now goes 'beeeeeeeeeeeeep'. So I think something has gone wrong with the motherboard. I'm not bothered about the compy, its knackered, I just need to get my docs copied onto the lappy.
Anyway, I am off to work in a min. Sooooo tired - went for a 'quick' walk last night, 'just to see where the road out of my village goes', but walked too far (about 6 miles) in total, so am now exhausted.
Hopefully I will finish early tonight and can come back and do some baking. I wish ex-OH would hurry up and sort my bloody kenwood out from the shed. I *need* it! Might 'offer' to help him shift the rest of his stuff this weekend, so that I can get it (he is moving out of our old house)
Have good one :beer:We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0
