Ossireo it wouldn't matter if you were a mile behind for me it's been out of the house,my sis comes with me sometimes and she dictates the speed and the breaks, you can have your dinner sitting on a hill looking at the view, it doesn't matter how much money you have the views are worth the walk alone0
-
eco - a walk in the hills sounds lovely - wish there was something like that near me.
Ossireo, thanks - you're right one day at a time is the way to be - (i am forever planning the following week)
All, wont be doing the diet but will be here cheering you on.0 -
Princess peach I forget how lucky i am to be able to go hiking to some really great places, thats why i should get out more.0
-
eco, it sounds great, i should get out of London more0

eco, that sounds wonderful, a good goal. I've been trying to get outdoors more and walk more - I love it, but sometimes I can't find the motivation to get off my bum and do it. Which is crazy, because when I'm out there walking, I have a good time. I've set myself a goal to walk around the county where I live, there are some paths that link up around the circumference. It'll be good weekend stress relief!0

Hi Ziggles50, day one for me too and going OK, but I refuse to throw out food so there are a few unhealthy bits and bobs lying around that will be eaten before I do my first super healthy shop! My official (officially decided by me that is!) is on Thursday as that will be 3 months to the day until my friends wedding.
Sorry to hear that life is bad for you; I hope the fudge helped if only for a short while.0 -
Hi, first day for me today, have been quite good so far, but may have a glass of wine later, naughty I know, but will confine myself to a small glass! Have weighed myself and would like to be 20lb lighter by Chrismas, any more will be a bonus. Hoping to do a healthy shop tomorrow, and may go for a long walk if the weather is nice. Hi everyone.....new to this board
My situation is a little different from everyone else's. I do see someone, but it is only a couple of times a month. He has a very high powered job, many friends and a couple of all consuming hobbies.
In a way it is a bit like being single, lol. The only thing is I don't want to stop seeing him because I really do like him, but I don't want be seen as being clingy and desperate with only him to turn to for company.
Where I am like everyone else on here is although not in debt, I only have very little spare money at the end of the month. I therefore need to do things on my own each month, but can never pluck up the courage. I have managed Starbucks during the day, but not managed the cinema yet.
I then start doing the paranoid worrying thing that I'm not interesting enough?
Silly isn't it? We find someone nice and then drive them away with impatience and worry, lol0 -
Hello everyone - sorry I've been gone for so long. Had my holiday then came back to manic work. Things are finally quietening down again so just caught up with the thread. Started my healthy eating yesterday too. Am going to do my healthy shop tomorrow evening and then planning to go to circuit training on Thursday - haven't been for nearly a month so that is going to hurt! No faster way to get the pounds off though....
How's everyone doing with hammering their debts? I need to have a very frugal month to make up for my holiday spending!0
