thank you for people responses to my first post. I did try and put in a new thread as advised however i cant seem to find the thread to see if I got any replies. I am new to this forum and could have fluffed the original sending of thread however I was sure it did go through. I have thought about the experian credit check however when I fill in my details for the free 30 day trial it wants my current bank account details, which I dont have , so have to abort the process/request.
I am feeling more confident about tackling my debt issues as, I have always been employable, so have the means to make payments.
leaving relationships have always been my down fall because all I ever leave with is debt.
I have applied for a basic bank account again, online. fingers crossed.

Let us know how you get on, hope you are ok xxx

    Hello,

    please can I join ?

I only came across this thread yesterday & I'm newly single :D . Grin because it was my choice after the crystal ball moment - you know when you suddenly realise that this is how your life with that person will always be
Anyway, I'm single & live with my DD who is less furry than a cat but can be just as contrary  . Got into debt of my own accord-ish & will get out of it on my own too, unless gorgeous sugar daddy type happens to fall at my feet :rotfl: . Yeh, over £6,000 worth of debt, still renting, very old car & my only assets are above my waist & my sense of humour  .

I'd rather be free & single than married & miserable ;)

LOVE that phrase, "my only assets are above my waist!" I shall be using that one I think!

Thanks for the welcome guys :D

Actually I use the term 'waist' loosely  . I quit smoking end of June & have put on 10lbs :mad::eek: - great for the 'assets' but not so great for the rest, I wouldnt mind but I only smoked about 5 a day, think I'd be struggling to stay upright if I'd smoked 10 a day ;) .

    Well, I've a date with a matador now ( only in a book :( ) so will say G'nite

    I have my thread back!:j :j :j

Have just worked out that I will be a little bit short for my rent this month, payday has been moved and my rent comes out the day before. Going to have to ring the bank now to increase my overdraft! As if it isn't high enough already! And I paid some money into my ISA that I could have used for the rent, can't take it back out. Sick of doing sums in my head all the time! Will call the bank and then go and spend my Boots vouchers to cheer me up. Hope everyone is ok xxx

   Stupid bank said no! Will have to draw some money out of my emergency savings ( which is also my pathetically low house buying fund:mad: ) or see if I can pay rent by credit card.   Am sick of being poor!

 Hi Buffy, how strange! Was just going to PM you to check you are ok, then I saw you had posted on your thread. Don't worry about the healthy eating thing, I haven't been doing it for the last couple of days, but am back on it tomorrow and am still aiming for 20lb by Christmas, plenty of time yet!
