Single and in debt.

Hey Buffy! To be honest, reading between the lines it sounds like most of us didn't have the best start (I ended up eating out twice and having 3 take aways!) so I am considering this a warm up/practise week and I'm gonna start "proper" on Monday! No biggie, I want to loose loads so one week isn't going to make that much difference. I'm going to try a radical approach (for me) of not beating myself up about my weight/diets and just be kind to myself. Good to see you back!0

Hi dolly, thank goodness you feel the same! Had visions of you and buffy losing lots of weight and thinking I was letting the side down! I will definitely start tomorrow, and I agree that not beating yourself up about it is a radical approach, but I will give it a go!Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0

Hey all
i definitely feel all of you on the diet thing as well as the being a bit short (on everything) sarahb.
Good plan to put best foot forward tomorrow.
Feeling good today cos i just did a bit of stoozing which should help with the phenomenal debt that i'm in. it seems like just as soon as you start getting ahead something happens to bring you crashing down...being positive is hard but this thread totally helps so thanks all!Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Calmed down a bit now, been to the shop and got a bottle of wine which I deserve:p because I am stressed and I will start the healthy eating thing tomorrow. Planning to get voucher from NOTW for £5 off £30 spend, so should be able to get quite a lot for that, am getting a bit better at using coupons and things. I was looking through the discount thread and I decided I needed a printer, but just remembered I can print everything at work.
Have just remembered re rent that I have an account which I don't use which has a £200 overdraft facility, so I will see if that is still available, if not will have to withdraw from savings, oh how I hate doing that, feels like going backwards.
On the plus side though, have been quite busy this week, and with thinking about diet and money and bags etc I totally forgot to obsess about being single! Not like me at all! Must remember to double obsess next week.:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
ah thanks guysxxx
I haven't been healthy eating very much, swopped my crisps for snackojacks, had breakfast everyday, drank more water, have been eating dried fruit.
but went out for dinner last night, ate pizza twice, more chocolate then I could list. had loads of chocolate. hum ho.
I too will not be hard on myself and start again on Monday.

Cant be doing with any WW or anything like that, I just want my old body backthe one I had that could fit into all the clothes I bought instead of paying off my cc
You see it's doubly important that I lose at least 10lbs, otherwise my spending was all in vain  .
Sarah I am so with you on the new bag thing, I really need a black one, suede if poss to go with the new black suede boots I also neeeed  .
Just how fattening is Baileys by the weigh ? I'm on my second glass

Hi all!
I STILL haven't even put my Pilates DVD in the player! :rotfl: Doing OK with the money stuff though, well I am if I allow myself to take a treat out of the PPI reclaim money I just got today. Been to an outlet centre with a friend of mine and accidentally went in the White Company - oops - however now have v sexy silk pj's and clingy winter nightdress half price, very pleased. Also quite impressed that I managed to exit Agent Provoc without my credit card escaping, though that could be because I realised that the silk cami, knickers and sussie belt set I had my eye on was £300!! In the outlet store!! _pale_  (as you may have noticed I don't suffer so much from shoes/ bags but have a terrible weakness for lingerie).
Haven't been up to much else, well except for spending a RIDICULOUS amount of time on OKCupid. So thank you to whoever recommended it (sorry can't remember who posted it first), though my boss might not thank you so much - I have been messing about on it til 2 am and yawning my way through work! I've found it really great for two reasons - first, answering the match questions made me seriously consider what I am looking for in a relationship (and wonder in that case why I went out with my exes :rotfl: ), plus I have had several messages and been chatting to someone in particular which is a lovely ego boost (so are the messages from students over 10 years younger than me, though I am ignoring those as assuming they're just after a sh*g!). Anyway I am feeling much more positive now, realised that after a lot of hassle in my life a couple of years ago I haven't really been open to meeting people, I had kind of not just gone into my shell but started bricking up the door, and have decided now it's time to re-emerge. It's amazing how much difference just a mood change makes - was flirting with a wrong number earlier this evening
!
Hope everyone is having a fab weekend, hugs to all :grouphug:
