I'm 30, and in central London....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Anyone else sweltering?
It feels like it's going to be stormy.
DS is awake. I've tried saying, "it's bed time!" His reply is, logically enough, "not bedtime Mummy, is hot".
I'm ignoring him, hoping he'll get bored and get tired, but he's playing happily with Spot....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
We had a horrendous storm here earlier today, typical it occurred when I was out so my laundry suffered on the line. Doesn't feel too bad atm, I may be back in a while if my bedroom disagrees with that conclusion!0
