Agreed. Its hard tho to let go of the issues, I tried so hard with the last guy to show him that I wasn't like his ex wife but he couldn't get past the fact that I might do some thing horrible.

Equally tho it took me ages to trust him in the first place! I think we were both right for each other but at the wrong time?

I will try, especially after reading this thread to keep an open mind and not think all men are scum bags ;)

Hi everyone. Single life can be a bit pants but then so can being in a relationship that isn't right.
Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on

Can't believe tho that there are so many single people out there, I mean I live in a village with maybe 200people, yet there are pages of people near me......

its a scary place indeed  I have had some very odd propositions in the 2 days I have been there lol
  • I did the whole 'internet thing' last year and can confirm that it was far more hilarious than scary...but the amusement value was about all I got out of it! One bloke I got on with like a house on fire and we are still friends (so not really a 'house on fire' I suppose, more like a small shed smouldering?!) but the rest...oh the tales I could tell.....!

Hey everyone :) Had and still having a very nice day. Had a bbq at my parents place earlier and got a little sunburnt! Only a little tho :)

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes - I had a moment when I was trying to go to sleep last night where I was dreading today on my own just a little. But it soon passed and I had a good night's sleep and have done only things I wanted to do today so it's all good!

  • Including the second time I had seen this guy (43), he invited his parents without telling me, we all went for lunch where his mother asked me if I was wearing makeup, did I dye my hair and told me how wonderful he was.

I swear I am not making that up.
  • Happy birthday bunzee! Enjoy what's left of it....xxx
  • glad you had a good day Bunzee,

I'd forgotten I 'd joined plenty of fish! and weirdly I had two e mails today!!

one guy seemed nice, and I am on a few favourites lists too!
    Nevertheless she persisted.
