Ello, the non smoking is going fine.

All this talk of detox is making me feel ill!
Well if she was a nice person then she wouldnt be rubbing your nose in it... better off without her I reckon. Plenty of lovely girls out there for you0 -

Well as usual it's far too complex to explain on an internet forum, especially as I don't have a clue how I feel about it!
Needless to say as soon as I move down to this mine I'm joining the local gym... I fully intend to go back to England buff and bulging with muscle  That'll show her....The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

Ok, 'nuff said, will just commiserate & sympathise rather than criticize - sorry if I caused offence - wasnt intended.
Yay to looking buff & muscley + tan of course  we might need photographic evidence ...0 -
I dont know what is wrong with me, it has to be starvation or just get fatter, & fatter & fatter
I think like the time has come for drastic action & like you, if I can just see the first 5/6 lbs go then it [strike]might[/strike]will make me determined to keep going. 18 months ago I was wearing shorts & vest tops at the allotment... now I dont even want to go there wearing combats - they're not baggy anymore
3 years ago I was practically skinny, apart from huge hips. I had a nice flat stomach and everything:mad: Am so cross with myself for letting it get this bad, with my constant "oh, i'm already overweight, may as well eat this massive cake/burger/plate of chips." The problem is i just have to lose so much, 40lbs ish, it just seems so far away. Have broken it down in my sig into 10lbs a time, but even that seems difficult.
I don't want to spend the rest of my 30s being fat. I want to wear nice clothes and feel comfortable. I want to meet someone and I am avoiding it because I don't feel my best. I don't want to keep doing this every year. It just feels like everything hinges on losing weight. Even if I lose a stone I will still be fat:mad:Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

No, no offence at all! I'm just fed up with the whole situation.
I'd like to be tanned but I'll be spending far too much time in the gym! When I get going I can happily spend 4 nights a week in there and as long as I get a good diet plan sorted I'll be packing on the muscle
Sarah, you can do it! As you said, as soon as you lose the first 5-6lbs you'll realise how easy it is and it'll snowball from there... the fitter you get the faster you'll lose weight. The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. I wish it was as easy to lose as it is to gainI know you are right, as soon as I get a reasonable amount lost I will feel more positive. I need to start thinking along the lines of sensible food being good for me, but am stuck on thinking of food as a treat.
My head is hurting again but I am trying to think of that as a good thing, if it hurts it must be the toxins leaving my system. Am actually developing a taste for fruit teas which is good.:D Might see what other flavours I can find on my trip to the shops tomorrow.
Thanks for the tip about the ipod, it really helped, listened to a self help cd so was an informative walk:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Sarah - I really sympathise, it's just hideous when you feel that you might as well keep on eating because nothing in the wardrobe fits anyway.
When I first started moaning about losing weight I needed to lose about 10lbs... I've just weighed myself & to regain the figure that fits into all my pretty clothes, I now need to lose 20 lbs.   :mad:Like you I've previously been pretty skinny but to put this into perspective I'm only 10lb away from the weight I was when I had DD
, except it's no longer concentrated into a bump  it's spread equally about my ample person.
Going to bed now, will report in tomorrow

Do you have any friends that you could walk with??? Make it into a bit of a competition as to who can walk it the fastest or is less nackered after! When I piled on nearly 3 stone of muscle in 5 months it was because me and a mate challenged each other every day, it became a matter of pride! The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. I did think about that, but to be honest, on the way home I thought, "thank goodness there is no one with me, I wouldn't be able to speak.":o Plus I did enjoy catching up with the downloads on my ipod.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0
