sarah - I'm doing it :j since the blackcurrant earlier I have had water, water with lemon & peppermint tea
. I went shoppng earlier & bought lots of lovely fruit & veg & I cannot tell you how excited I am to be able to eat apples tomorrow  & as for the raw veg on wednesday ... well it's going to be an absolute treat .
It's great isn't it:rolleyes:    Am v jealous of the raw vegI actually do like some of the fruit teas, they just suffer in comparison with all the other drinks I like.:D Am currently on cherry tea, didn't even know there was such a thing.
I know it's rubbish now but think about the weight loss and how happy we will be! I agree with your earlier post, if we can just get a few pounds gone this week as a kick start, then 2lbs a week after that, we should be there in no time:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Progress! I'm waiting for the estate agent to email me the paperwork for a house
Well, 1/6th of a house! Wooooo.
Unfortunately I have to buy all my own furniture/crockery/cutlery etc and claim it back on expenses...this is going to suck! The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Am feeling quite guilty for egging you on now, as my breakfast will be sausage, mushrooms and scrambled egg- yum:D Had a nice dinner of veg and baked salmon earlier, so am not suffering foodwise, just the type of food. Breakfast will be swiftly followed a hearty walk:rolleyes: Might get some peppermint tea at the shops.
Glad you decided to join me, misery loves company:rotfl:

Blimey its detox a go go here! impressive and well done for sticking to it!
I am feeling rather strange
yesterday I clean out four fish tanks - which involved hauling buckets of water to and fro.
it killed me! and I didn't finish till 11.30
was so tired all day today, got did some tidying and went back to bed I felt so awful then later on after some more tidying and some lunch I had to have an afternoon nap too! tonight i hoovered and did a tiny amount of work but I feel like i have completely wasted today.
and my food was ok till tonight, had scrambled egg for breakfast, then a yoghurt, bagel and roast chicken at lunch stir fry for dinner, but since then, crisps, mini twix, mini diary squares(x8!!!!!)
sighs. going to bed!!

I think I could do with a detox. I eat so much carp and it just falls into the trolley without thinking about it. The annoying thing is that I can actually stick to a diet but somehow have to get started and not fall off it with things like weekends away, meals out and holidays etc.
My work colleagues think I am healthy as I bike to work and eat homemade veg & lentil soup plus fruit for lunch. ..... they don't see the chocolate I buy from the local shop.
That is the annoying thing, generally my meals are pretty healthy but I ruin it with snacks.
TDQ - hurrah for new house :j but booo for having to spring for furniture etc
RE: Download, is it near your birthday at all, could you ask for contributions towards the ticket for that. Or as a welcome home from Australia present?!!
My day was good, work was fine and then went to see a Japanese play this evening which was really interesting in that the production was brilliant but the story itself wasn't my thing at all. I've got a really cultured week planned - am at the ballet on Thursday and going to this other thing tomorrow night.
I should really go to bed.
Good luck all you detoxers...hope you are feeling suitably virtuous and smug towards the rest of us which is also one of the benefits!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
Hello all
Long time no type. How are you all doing? I've just been reading up on your detox achievements. I did the Carol Vorderman one last year for a month. Had to stop a few days early because I was having some bowel issues. I won't enlighten you with the details, but I decided never to detox again. Good luck to you all though!
Forbidden Man and I have decided to make a go of it. It'll be difficult, but I think he's worth it. Not told my friend yet, but she suspects already. We're not very good at hiding the truth...
I shall be reading what I missed of the thread later, but just wanted to say I'm still alive and have missed talking to you all

Another walk completed:D Am getting used to this now, was listening to a self help cd on my ipod, so am feeling all positive at the moment:D To my horror the pound shop had sold out of Green and Black's dark gingerbread chocolate, was planning to stock up
Bought a bottle of water as i was dying of thirst, and a magazine, and had a look round the shops luckily it's a small shopping centre so no splurging opportunities.
Weighed myself this morning and was 2lbs less but as my scales are not brilliantly accurate and my weight tends to fluctuate I will see what I am at the end of the week, don't want to get my hopes up.
Off to try a new fruit tea, strawberry and cranberry this time I think -yum:rolleyes:Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Hi Sarah and Lula
Well done both of you for sticking with the detox, you're amazing!
Managed to stick to my diet again today but have been rubbish at getting motivated to exercise!
