Single and in debt.

I've had a good few days of being single! A friend who is also single is sick to the back teeth of hearing about someone at work who has just got engaged and giving it the big, "Just think, if you could get a man, this could be you". Sad thing is, my pal does get jealous, and I have to keep reminding her of the man this girl at work is due to marry - he's a self-confessed cocaine addict. Is that the sort of guy you want your kid to be brought up around?! She obviously just likes to be able to say, "I'm part of a couple" even more than she cares about her kid's upbringing and even brags about it!
Seriously, there's nothing to be ashamed of being single when you hear of some of the creeps that people feel they can brag about being attached to. I don't feel jealous of her at all. I actually feel pity if the poor cow can't see how pathetic she looks bragging about her loser fiance.
Nothing at all to be ashamed of being free of a creep like that!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

Morning, glad to hear that the detoxes are going well, I'm tucking into a breakfast of raisins cus I stayed in bed so no time for proper food.
RMR: congrats on the FM, hope it all works out and that your friend doesnt go too mental.

Hey fabby peeps
confession time :
I leapt off the detox todayfelt utterly drained, miserable, depressed & had to collect DD in the car & didnt trust myself to drive safely so had a coffee & hobnonb & I'm serious; I could feel the life flowing back into me.
that was one scary experience & I wont repeat it that drastically unless I can stay in bed for a week, have no diea how I managed it last time.
Have takedn TDQOs advice & been nibbling nuts & had a huge bowl of salad with some ham for supper. My stomach now feels all distended so going to be very careful what i eat over the next few days. Will try to keep of bread & pasta for a while & I am actually going to meet my friend at the allotment tomorrow morning :j so feeling positive about getting some fresh air & exercise & cutting back the raspberry canes ready for all that jam making in the autumn ( I say that every year but scoff most of them straight off the plant  ).
Stupid stupid xbf keeps emailing & ringing me  can someone please explain why. Heard nothing for weeks & then suddently starts up again, completely unprovoked I add. It's ridiculous & just makes me more determined to stay single.
Glad to hear you're going for it with FM runmichellerun :j
How's everyone else ?0 -
Morning all, hope everyone is ok. Got up quite early for me today, had bacon and eggs for breakfast, very nice:D Will go for a walk later and will try to do one of the things on my 100 list while I am off work. Need to do some tidying as being off work means I have let it get messy again, am seemingly incapable of tidying up after myself:oPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0

Sarah - I'm not convinced that you are doing a detox; there was definitely no mention of bacon & eggs in mine
Glad it's going well though:A .
I'm now on a self managed eating plan; had hot water with lemon & an apple for brekkie, cup of coffee & hobnob for lunch( it's energy food
) & for supper I'll be having another big bowl of salad with ham & maybe some cheese too. Drinking loads of water & snacking on fruit but mainly avoiding bread, potatoes, pasta etc. which are my usual staples  will be interesting to see whether I do lose any weight. I weighed myself on monday & have decided not to go near them again until next monday as my weight can go up/down by a couple of lbs each day .
We went to the allotment this morning & did 2 hours hard labour & then went to local shop only to discover there were no more bags of fruit & nuts  mind you at £3 a go that's probably not a bad thing - I could easily eat a bag every day0 -
I have been trying to eat a proper breakfast.
I need to work out what snacks I can eat that will give me energy and are not based on sugar.
any suggestions?Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

Oat cakes are good, you can have them with marmite or I like them with peanut butter. I buy the kind though that is just peanuts, so no added sugar. It doesn't taste the same but I really like it. That is a good snack, protein and oats for slow release energy.
Another snack I used to like was celery with laughing cow cheese (light!)
Nuts are another good one, my diet book used to recommend 11 almonds for a snack!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Hello
My day has been ok although had killer headache since y'day and slept really badly last night. I just hope it goes soon!
I went to work thing and I was singled out for praise - mostly for turning up to work in the snow and getting out and about to check on things in the snow which was very nice but a bit un-deserved, I love the snow so not a chore to go out and about in it at all!! Reminded me of my chalet girl days!
I have ordered a cardigan from Wallis in their sale. I am most happy as have had eye on cardigan for ages and is now £17 down from £25.
I think I have been most cunning and have ordered a ton of other stuff to take over £80 mark to get free postage. Also got a 10% off code for signing up to their newsletter (which I already get....) I am intending to take all other stuff back once I get my delivery - but still get to keep my free delivery and 10% off - do you think this will work????I've got my own flat :j:j
