I will read the thread it just might take me a while, i've got to go home to my flat in a while and there's no computer there.......still this will change soon hopefully!
Cool I was just wondering cus there's only about 3 guys that post on here and I'm one of them.
Do you reckon it's because women spend far more and are prone to silly shopping sprees or that men just won't admit their debt problems so don't come on here???The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Thanks TDQO!
This is of course assuming I'm the kind of person that can get up earlier than I need to!!!!

Grr, I hate couples sometimes (that might be jealousy though:o )
I know that feeling! I mainly feel like that though when the female of the two is moaning because she hasn't got everything she wants - or she wants a new kitchen or something (and the one she has still looks fantastic) and.......grrrrr....well she isn't grateful - cos she's never had to struggle.
Ok rant over - i know it's not that simple! :rotfl:0 -

Hi TDQO
I think it's that men don't like to admit debt problems, they keep it all inside - i think a lot wouldn't have the courage to come on here. I think it's great that there are 3 guys on here that are actually able to talk about it - you guys will be all the healthier for it!0 -

I have a nasty habit when I'm surrounded by couples (even my friends) of trying to get them to break up by willpower :rotfl:
Maybe if I "evil" them enough they will all break up and I won't be the only single :cool:The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

All my purchases are very sensible and well though out so I can't comment on that bit.
This board does seem to be mainly women though, I think it may be the chatty nature of it that puts men off a bit.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
You could always do a few laps after work.... if you're not too tired and hungry.
Hmmm that sounds like an interesting talk, what was the conclusion???
I went to a talk on weds night about the expansion of the coal terminal here in Newcastle cus my company is providing all the huuuuge machinery for the stockpiles. Also got a free meal
Well the report is in 9 sections, school, values, friends, mental health, inequality and some others I don't remember. The report made 30 proposals. The lecture concentrated on school and inequality and there were some shocking stats about the number of children living in poverty. Figure actually higher than 30 yrs ago:eek:
The report was very critical of society and the excessive individualism which kind of means that too many people put their own needs above that of their community or society and this is a very hard thing to change.
Another interesting stat was that 70% of children think that conflict between their parents affects them but only 30% of parents thought that. It goes to show that there can be a wide gap between what parents think and what their children experience.
I really want to get the book which has the report in as I thought it would make very interesting reading. I work in Housing and this is an issue which comes up a lot in my line of work.
Luckily I have £7 worth of Amazon Vouchers from doing surveys and things and the book is £7.49!!!!! See I have learnt something from MSE!
I think I have been to Newcastle, is it about 2hrs north of Sydney??? I went to Australia when I was 15 and we stayed with my Dad's friend and I'm pretty sure it was near Newcastle...hmmm.I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Yeah that'll be it....women and their silly shopping for pretty sparkly things. Men buying shiny electronic gadgets isn't silly at all....;)
Well I have read Women are from Venus Men are from Mars and according to that, it would be because when women are upset they like to go and talk to their friends about it, in a supportive atmosphere as they find this helpful. Where as men like to go to their 'cave' and sort out their problems on their own.........
And I love the idea of breaking up couples by sheer willpower......I've been trying that on Brad and Angelina but so far...it isn't quite working. Although I did manage to split up Justin and Cameron...he hasn't realised he is actually my new boyfriend yet though.....I've got my own flat :j:j

Hehe, men buying gadgets IS silly but they won't admit it whereas nearly everytime my female friends come back from a shopping trip the line "i didn't really need it" creeps in somehwere!
Oh and yes, Newcastle is about 2hrs north of Sydney... biggest coal export port in the world. I'm moving next to south of Sydney near Wollongong. The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it.
