Hi all, am very happy today as £70 has validated on Quidco:j Just have to hope my cc application is accepted and that will be another £40:j I love free money:j One of my 100 things to do is to get to £200 on Quidco so will be over half way there then.

Car is now running fine thank goodness, but may have to face the prospect of getting a new one if it keeps costing me that much all the time. Am :j about getting a new one, but icon9.gif about having to pay for one. Will keep this one going as long as I can though, want to save as much as possible first.

Michelle, have you seen your new man again yet? Does your friend know you have been seeing him yet? Need updates:D Hope it is still going well.

Slayerx, definitely do as eco says and remember the mantra!

Awww thanks for asking, and good memory! Well, not much to report. Saw him last week but in a big group of people. Was nice to have a bit of a secret flirt though, when the others weren't listening. He's on holiday this week so not going to see him till next week now probably.

My friend doesn't know and won't know until something is definite. Unfortunately, we're getting on really well at the moment which makes things difficult.

I shall update as soon as anything else happens. Promise. Brownie's honour :D

Glad your car is better, and I would be excited about finding a new one too. Love driving new cars! Think of all the test driving you can do!!

Sarah I can beat you on Quidco, I've got £175.20 validated, i nearly jumped up and down at work when i saw it, held myself in tho didn't think it would look good, i can't beleive it was last September when I finally started to use Quidco, should have done it ages ago.

    Hello fabby ones :D

scurrying in a bit late as I've been updating the february NSD thread - it's a bit popular & I reckon I'll have plenty of NSDs as I'll be so busy updating all the time  .

It's actually all part of my plan to keep myself very very busy in the evenings so that I a) dont spend any money online :o & b) dont spend any time with unsuitable men :o .

I've been a bit cheeky today & did check out who was available on my local gumtree :D . There was no one I particularly fancied although for a brief moment I was torn between a biker with own house who does cooking, cleaning & gardening & a younger submissive man who likes to do all your chores for you...naked  :rotfl:

Sarah - that book about dating over 40, is it the male that's over 40 or the female ? - not that it'll make much difference soon :(

I definitely want one that has been through his midlife crisis, but how do we tell, surely they dont all wear medallions, leather jackets & sports cars

I have only had a quick look through as am still reading Being Happy:o but she is going off her own experiences so it seems to be aimed at women over 40 meeting men in the same age range. It also says the things on your list are negotiable.:D You may find the loveliest leather jacketed, medallion wearing, sports car driving, middle life crisis-done-with man. Don't rule anything out;) (except the medallion)

I have never done it, But I just assumed that it went to the first person who asked for it. How horrible if a few people want it and you have to choose. I would just pick the first one who asked, to be fair. (Am assuming that lots of people want one of your items and it is making you feel awkward?)

Hmmm, this could be the root of my problems ... too picky :o ; sometimes even the tiniest most insignifcant things just grate on my nerves & although I tend to ignore/overlook whilst the passion is hot... as it wanes the gratey thing just grows & grows until it becomes completely untenable  .

Ossiereo - nice to see you sweetie :D & I'm with sarah, I think I would give it to the first person. O have lots of stuff to freecycle but cant remember/find my password so it all sits in my shed :o
