sorry to hear your day not going well but dont panic or get despondent, there is ALWAYS a way to sort things out, although it may not always be your preferred method :rolleyes: . Banks are never reasonable when it comes to you not doing as they want, but tough - they cant have what you dont have. How long can you live on what you have available ? Be brutally honest with yourself about what needs to be paid & what isnt important. I know it's little comfort but there are so many now in the same situation which could well be why the jobcentre have had to reschedule your appointment.

There are many people here who can offer support & advice so remember that you are not alone. If you havent already done so, take a look at the benefits board as there will be people there who know more about this area than I do.

Thanks for the reply, I have about £600 in my account including my overdraft however come the 23rd of Feb I need to put £315 into a joint account for rent and bills.

So thats leaves me with less than £300 to survive on until I start earning again which could be at least a month or two.

Mean while I have money going out of my main account for my loan which is just over £100 and a few min payments for credit cards so I would say that the £300 im left with is pretty much spoken for.

:eek: hate it when it's already accounted for but at least you know :rolleyes: .

My advice is to keep yourself 'covered' so definitely keep hassling for jobcentre appointment ( could make it sound more desperate than strictly true :shhh: ) just to get your details in the system... as it may take a while for any payments to actually materialize, you can always cancel & repay any benefits when you get a new job.

Hmmm. Maybe just say it to yourself in your mind. Wouldn't recommend you say that to potential employers face.
