:rotfl: Good plan! I want one too!

I knew they still existed! After all, we do!!! :D :j

Count me in too please! All that have asked me out over the past few years are thieves, alcoholics, people with girlfriends, people that shout at their girlfriend for talking to other men when giving them the time (yes, a guy became single and asked me out 6 month after me seeing him tear strips off his poor girlfriend for telling a man the time when he asked.) Also I was asked out by a Eeyore Nicolas Cage lookalike - god his face is so droopy and sad I couldn't stand looking at that all day long! Shame he turned out to be a bit of a stalker, got random texts from him that I would never answer!

It's all funny looking back! Luckily the quality is now improving, I may even meet someone that has a) a personality, b) a face that doesn't scare me and c) doesn't steal from his friends and actually has a decent job instead of being a sponger!!!!

Well done Mags on the money, it doesn't matter when you get your head out of the sand the important thing is you have.

Slayerx can you register at more than 1 agency to increase your chances?

I've registed with about 12 agencies and applied for about 20 jobs.

This agency is pretty good they seem to be proactive the rest are just too busy since within the last week over 1000 people have lost their jobs in Bradford.

Ello all, sounds like it's all fun and games in here... I really don't have much to say except I had to throw out the casserole which annoyed me but the soup turned out lovely and I've bagged it into 5 bags so that's 5 lunches at work :D

 sometimes my debt panics me..... EVEN after 4 years or so.

I will be free in less than three years with a trust deed - my only option as debt management was taking too long :(

Hey mags and shoegal - your nights out sounded great! My mouth is watering just reading what you had to eat mags......:D

While reading worried jim's thread the other night, I bit the bullet and filled in my details on Payplan's webpage. I have had an email from them tonight - very friendly - allocating me a case number, a named contact and asking me to get in touch.
Are any of you guys here on DMPs (either through Payplan or CCCS or self-made ones)?
I just think that if my CCs could have the interest freezed for even a little while, I could get a better foothold on my debts but the fact is I can pay the minimum payment at the moment, and I wonder if they will consider me a suitable case as I am not in a worse predicament?
I know the answer is to ring them and talk to them but that is totally a nerve-wracking thought.
I have overpaid a fair bit on a couple of my cards this month to try and get them back below the limits (I know....:o ) but consequently I have very little money left for the rest of the month. I don't think this will do me any harm to be honest.
Any thoughts you have are as always, very gratefully received. You are a fab bunch and I think I need a bit of a push to call them. Feeling quite stressed about all this tonight......

    Thanks x
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    Hi Jenevieve

I was on a DMP with CCCS and now run my own. It's been pretty straightforward, however, when I started I couldn't meet my minimum payments, and still can't for some of my creditors. I am slowly trying to get back up to minimum payments on those accounts that haven't gone to DCA's. By the way, my total debt 12 months ago was around £30k, I have paid of about £4k

    Hope this helps a bit!

I've spent 2 hours in the garden trying to get it straight and moved 2 water butts, i love spending time out there, my veg is going to be bigger and better this year, and the snowdrops are coming through, spring is truly on it's way now.
