i love gardening, i'm just hoping all the bulbs i planted last year are as good this year, and i've got more plans for the veg, more variety i just can't wait to get started, and i had a fox in my garden yesterday, i haven't seen him for ages i used to put food out for him, Sarah you'll get your garden one day, just don't get one as big as mine or you'll find yourself out every weekend.
  • Right. That's it. I've had enough! I feel massive!!! I've had three meals out this week, including desserts and my waistline is growing by the minute. I hate it.

I'm going back on weight watchers as from tomorrow. No excuses!

Hope everyone had lovely weekends. Mine was fantastic but I'm paying for it now.

I bit the bullet and filled in my details on Payplan's webpage. I have had an email from them tonight - very friendly - allocating me a case number, a named contact and asking me to get in touch.
I know the answer is to ring them and talk to them but that is totally a nerve-wracking thought.

You've answered your own question!! I haven't personally had to use Payplan or go down the DMP route but I have read lots of diaries on here and seen the advice that people have got.

My impression is that they are very sympathetic, realistic and practical.

My advice would be to write down all your questions and things you need to know. Then pick a quiet time when you won't be disturbed and can concentrate on what they are saying.

I would take a deep breath and get it done, I bet you will find it lots better after you have got some professional advice.

I had a good weekend, yesterday really lazy and more or less stayed in PJ's all day long.....I can be sooo lazy sometimes (in my defence am fighting a rubbish cold!)

Today I went to a friends for her birthday lunch. She is a fab cook and had a great spread, she even gave us doggie bags to take home so I've just had some delish chilli!!!

I was so bad last week for buying lunches so I made two pans of soup when I got home which will last me well over one week...finally something DFW!!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Jenevieve, I agree with makeup, the best thing to do is ring them asap, then you will know where you stand with things and you can start to plan. The worst thing is not knowing.

    Hello fabby ones :D

I had loads of fun with my new chest of drawers yesterday, moved the furniture all around, discovered more clothes :o & shoes :o:o & made some of Twinks hobnobs .

Today I visited my grandmother & my dad & they both fed me chocolate cake so feeling very tubby right now .

You'll be pleased to know sarah that I'm running the NSD thread for february so have already put you down for 20 :rotfl: Before you decide to follow through with that lifetime ban threat I assure you that I'm only joking :D .

I still need another 5 to reach this months target & dont think I'm going to make it somehow  .

Not sure why but I'm feeling very calm about the debts at the moment & very determined to make the most of being single & not having to be responsible for anyone elses emotions. I'm also very releived that we're nearly at the end of the first month of the year.

I have a lovely pile of books by my bed, clean sheets, a tidy(ish) room & I'm relishing having it all to myself so will wish you all a happy & positive start to the week & goodnight

    lula xx

That first sentence actually startled me! :rotfl:

I shall pop along when you start it and put myself down for 10. I hope you are not a hard taskmaster:D

P.S I was joking about the lifetime ban, should have put a :rotfl: after it. Things sometimes don't come across properly when they are written down.:o I don't mind being called a spinster by a fellow singleton:D

Yar me hearties! This morn I be pirate Rob! Aaaargh!

Ummm, yeh, anyway... you'll be glad to know that even in Oz the weather is cack on public holidays! Has been bright sunshine for the last week and today it's rain and clouds! Stupid Australia Day...

Car now fixed, was not the same as last time and I am now £160 worse off:mad:

In light of this development I have decided that it is just too much work being poor, so I shall be rich instead. I think that will be far easier all round and I will be able to fling £160 around whenever I feel like it, instead of having it prised out of me and then sitting in my room sulking.
