I am reporting this as abuse. If you are deliberately following me around on this forum and posting to others then you are "stalking me". I will not reply again.
I am neither stalking or following you around, simpy stating what I have written.......and not what Yargo1 is claiming.....If anyone has grounds for a complaint it is me and I have all the written proof....I think this dialogue should end here without further false accusations.............0 -
Yes, and on that note what is anyone doing for New years eve?
I am stuck between not doing anything cos I have such a lot of work to do and then thinking that is sad and I should make an effort to go out!
advice? opinions? for a single girl on New Years eve!Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

I've changed my mind, I'm not letting anyone drive me away!
Depends on what you feel like doing, could you do with a night out? What are your options for going out? Is it going to be a pub/nightclub thing that you have in mind?0 -
well, it will most likely be a house party,
which if the girl who always has one has one it will be cool.
but I don't think she is having one - she has little girl now.
I not really into clubbing sad but true!
edited to ask
what are you going to do?Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
I'm not sure what the massive problem is with Yargos advice is Feisty1. If someone has got on my nerves for whatever reason then I also try to ignore them to not let myself get upset any further, its quite natural advice. Yet you seem to be starting some personal war about it all.
It is very usual to misread what people say....one thing may upset someone that would not upset anyone else .. as we have no body language to see what intent the person writing the message has. We also do not know our audience and what day they have had either.
PinkTwirl please dont leave for good as I for one will miss you and Sarah will be very upset to return to find you gone. I will say that Yargo did actually tell Fiesty1 to reply on this forum rather then send PMs so that may be why (s)he is here although I will still stand by my confusion as to why Feisty1 is determined to get upset on our thread rather then just let things lie especially considering how upset PinkTwirl is at the moment as it is coming across as quite vindictive in the circumstances (and I am sure that is not the intent) and I am sure something neither would do in person.
By the way, feel free to flame me as I am off out for the evening to see SC, I'll read and probably cry at the abuse tomorrow0 -
Jeez, quit posting while I am composing
Hmm for New Year, hmmm well I have DS with me as usual, although I may well be collecting SC from work and he may be cooking me dinner (and he mentioned doing the washing up too!) :j0 -

Hi,
Thanks for the posting. Maybe they didn't mean to upset me, I certainly don't mean to upset anyone on here, but I find when I stray from these boards someone always tries to pick holes in what I say. I am happy to leave it as it is, on the other thread.
I hope you have a good evening. I am not going to post about the matter any further, nor about being down, and hopefully we can get back to the happy atmosphere we had.
Now, NYE parties, a house party is easier. I don't know what I will be doing. I will crash in on doing some voluntary stuff that my dad does or I will stay in. I agree about the nightclubs, not fun after 25 it seems!0 -
Come Hogmanay I'll be doing what I always do which is sit indoors trying not to let the fact that I'm on my own bother me and ignore the fact that it is Hogmanay! (Bit difficult when I can feel and hear the fireworks going off on Princes Street, then the usual ones that go off in the local park for the next few hours thereafter).
I really REALLY hate new year - there's nothing worse than going back to work and having people saying, "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!" in your face when you'd really rather just carry on as normal and forget about the whole good news, good luck, 'let me tell you what a great time we had' vibe they all have going on.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
If it's any consolation, I went to the New Year thing in Princes Street once. The fireworks only lasted 15 minutes and it wasn't really much cop. It was also freezing!0
