Hi All,
Yes night owl again! I did ok today diet wise. 1 slice of wholemeal toast for breakfast, meat an potato pasty for lunch (comfort food - horible day) ham, salad sandwich (wholemeal) a little later because fat pasty didn't fill me up. Soup and wholemeal bread for dinner. Wow, I've had a lot of bread!
I went to get passport pictures today (do they ever flatter anyone?????) I look awful on it!!!! Oh well, needs must!
Bit of a bad spend day because passport pics and bought lunch! Spent £10.
Hmmmmmm, not done as well as I thought......this diary I think is going to highlight some problem areas!
Well done the rest of you, good start!0 -
Morning everyone! Brilliant news Rugby Mum - hope you'll stick around and stop the rest of us from becoming too cynical about the opposite sex! I didn't quite make it to circuits last night (in my defence it was peeing down with rain...) so going tonight instead.
Food wise yesterday was an ok day - fruit and fibre, some raisins and cashews, soup and three plain rice cakes, a hot chocolate (skimmed milk though), fat free yoghurt then a fish cake with roasted veggies for tea. And a small glass of wine...(it seemed rude not to!)
Have dug out my WW books from a couple of years ago so I can tell today will be less about work and more about working out what I've been eating that has led to such a gain in the last few months!

Oh no!! I leave this thread to go on a rubbish holiday for just a week and now I have about 40 pages to read through!!!
I see there are lots of new people here and it's turned into a diet thread as well as a singles club. Well good, because I ate and drank a LOT on holiday. Plus I'm going away again this weekend so when I'm back on Monday I will be seriously joining the diet.
I do weight watchers so will get back on that next week.
Anyway, just thought I'd say hello to everyone and hope you're all ok?LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -

Guilty as charged! How lucky for me that I don't have a man texting me at the momentDo miss that though:sad:
Yargo, you are doing very well at the dieting, am feeling guilty now, had a bacon roll for breakfast and have just had a huge cappuccino from Starbucks, am very cross with myself  However, am going to have an omlette now and have stuff for a vegetable stir fry tonight. Think I will have to start confessing daily to keep myself on the straight and narrow.
Think you are right about the sugar levels, I always get a really bad headache a few days after starting a diet, when all the rubbish is leaving my system.
Hope you are feeling a bit better now, at least if you don't go out you will save a bit of money, and the tv in the week is not as bad as the weekend. No terrible dancing competitions on tonight!Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Funny you should be talking about texting, I don't have a mobile (hate them so much and am holding out hope that they are just a fad
) and was talking to a friend at work the other day and we pretty much agreed that without one there is no chance that I will ever get a date again. He reckons that all flirting/getting to know someone is conducted via texts these days and that any man asking for my number and being given one that starts 0208 will run away thinking I'm a nutter!
I'm so lucky to have such supportive honest friends to give me a male perspective:rotfl:0
