  • Hi, just checked in before I switch of and go to dream land! Thanks for adding me to the diet target list (seeing it in black and white makes it more final and means that it will happen) Although, I have just had two can's of Bud round at sisters! Good Luck everyone!

Too sleepy to read through everyones posts so I'll check in tomorrow and catch up! I would just like to say a huge well done to Bowski though! Over two stone since April is fab and you'll get that last stone off!:T You sound really positive about being single too! You'll have to keep us up to date on your flirting tactics! Tee Hee!

    Nan Night x x
  • Morning everyone - hope we're all chirpy chirpy today (despite the rain). Managed to be pretty good yesterday - fruit and fibre for breakfast, soup and rice cakes for lunch, salmon and veggie stir fry with noodles for tea. Tonight I'm going to circuits - a whole hour of running, press ups, sit ups and boxing - is it weird that I am quite looking forward to it?!

I'm aiming for about two pounds off a week - anymore than that and it tends to just pile back on again! Also trying to think of ways to up my exercise...is getting a bike just taking the whole thing too far?! x
  • P.s please can you send the hot electricty/gas man in my direction?! I could do with some eye candy to cheer up my day! ;)

    Getting a bike is doubly good - it's exercise and it's money-saving!

Today, I am mostly feeling very proud of myself for paying my car tax. I managed to save up for it a little bit each month! This level of organisation is a new thing for me :j
  • Saving a bit each month is seriously impressive! Right I am looking into getting a bike...might need to find myself a cycling course before I attempt to ride it though. Haven't been on a bike for about ten years!!!

    On yer bike :rotfl:

Seriously though, it is a very good way to get those thighs trimmed (bikes I mean ;) ) I have one but due to ridiculous weather I havent been on it for about 3 weeks. I would also invest in a big comfy saddle too, I used to ride 7 1/2 mile to work every day but hadnt been near one since DD (nearly 9) was born & I was hobbling for about 3 days after the first ride

I'm also aiming for about 2 lb a week, not sure how realistic that is though,

Bowski - that's brilliant, you must be very disciplined :D

Got to do some work now so will pop back this evening for the consumption
    declaration,

    see ya later

Hi Tony, nice of you to join us..we are going to need a lot of support i think in our aims .. good to hear from a mans perspective how it can be when you are single, in debt or not and in my case also not "settled" in life in general.

Have you joined any of the dating sites yet? what about work social events? any clubs or interests where you might meet someone interesting?

    Jo

Thanks for the warm welcome!! Yes I have joined POF and Okcupid but now really had any interest,I was brave enough to put a pic up on those sites but i didnt put much effort into the profile.I dont really feel 100% comfortable being on the dating sites but hey I will give it a go.I work as a mobile service engineer so i dont have a fixed office or factory infact i have only been to my office 2times in 12 years!
I am a total workaholic starting at 630am and not getting home until about 7pm and when home -eat -drink- shower-general housework-bed.My life at the momment seems a bit like groundhog day!!
One of my customers actually asked if i wanted to go clubing to cellebrate her birthday with her mates!.........Great.......They are all 21:confused:

Blimey you must be knackered working those hours! Mind you if your like me,you may be thinking that we may meet that "special person"whilst working.Iam a much more confident person in work mode.Iam in the cambs area and being male, loosing weight is easy......eat less......!My weight changes over the year,up 6lbs in the winter but drops over the summer.Belly goes up a cup size!

Well yes, am knackered most of the time, but get to (like now!) use the net at job two so unless its horendously busy enjoy the time on the web too so not really too much of a chore! nice people here too so that helps...

Job one is lot more demanding... and no time really..ok well twice a day to go online ha ha

eating less for one is soo hard though.. bet the others will agree . as when you go shopping its all bogofs and family sizes which are the better value! so i end up eating a lot more... and i cant beleive when someone only takes one of a bogoff! I mean! take it - give it away if you dont want it but dont let the shop benefit... ha ha ....

Im off to my mums in a weeks time...they moved to bulgaria and weather there has been reallly good.. was in high 90's last weekend so im hoping it stays that way for a bit of weight loss ...
