Hi natwest. I must admit I am a tad confused. The only reason I have a separate bank account for salary is because CAB advised me to. And I think this is standard advice from 3rd party debt advisors? I would have thought hardship is judged on your incoming money and outgoings, therefore ability to pay, not what account your money is paid in to. Perhaps you can clarify?0

I always advise to ask the question but I am always amazed how some people do get payouts and others do not.0 -

Hi
If I reclaimed charges a few years ago and now have more due to hardship, can I claim again?

Hi just phoned halifax regarding another letter i sent them on 16th October with a copy of a Repossesion order on my property. At first the guy said that there has been a letter sent out to you today offering 1 charge back and waived charges for next 3 months. Asked if I could speak to someone abit higher who is actually dealing with my claim, A really nice lady came on phone and asked what i was wanting today, i said £3000 would stop the order going through. She is going to get back to me this afternoon, not holding out much hope really but you never know!!!!0

Hi just trying to understand what my harpship claim award means. Basically I've claimed £1633 and have received an offer of £550 which has already been paid into my account. What I would like to know is, if I accept this amount, does this make the original claim classed as dealt with? The reason I ask is that the bank account in question has an overdraft of £600 on. This amount clears that (well nearly), but as I am CCCS this overdraft will be removed from my account as under the terms I can have no active overdraft facilities that they are anaware of, and if they are aware of it (which they are), then it is treated as a debt, so cannot be my main bank.
So basically, this offer is of no use to me, as the money is not really available. Accepting this would clear my overdraft and leave me in the same situation, which makes me think that I should reject the offer and continue with the full claim. I am still in hardship, with bills just about being paid (well apart from electricity and gas but they have to wait and I'll arrange a higher repayment amount when the red letter comes!)
Any advice welcome?
Good Friday to you all, just wondered if anyone had any idea on the above? Sorry to go on about it. Think I'll reject the offer anyway0 -

didnt use HSBC for a long time and the last they ever knew was i get £1,000+ per month and they didnt ask for proof of my income now0 -
