ive been trying to talk nicely with the halifax over my financial hardship claim for £6.000 worth of bank charges ,they have constantly ignored me so i have taken a different approach, time to attack, ive closed both my accounts with them and sent them an accompanying snub letter telling them they are indeed con artists and have built an attack website of my own called www.halifaxwanke*s.moonfruit.com {replace the star with the letter "r"} i apologise for the wording of the website but i was very angry, anyway ive given up pursueing my case ,ill let the lords decide it now,the halifax bank are a waste of time, they disobey the law they are a law unto themselves and are sending people around in circles making the whole situation worse, time for action is called for from me.ill enjoy the rants i publish to the web while this goes on,venting ones anger is very good for ones mind, anyway up yours halifax bank.:mad:missed direct debit charges, very odd, theres no pain so how come the big gain,i.e £39.00 for a letter0

The Lords are deciding IF the charges can be ASSESSED for FAIRNESS not whether the charges are Fair. This judgement does not affect stays and will NOT lead to refunds immediately since there is more litigation to go.0 -

I asked them to send an expenditure sheet out, and i sent them a list of all arrears that i have been charged.
Thanks.0 -
Had an offer from Halifax a couple of weeks ago for £500 following a lengthy claim for £5000 of ever increasing charges. I wrote to them several times with arrears notices and unpaid bills and sent with my acceptance a letter containing a court summons for £800 of unpaid council tax and my mortgage that was not paid this month. I called them today and may as well have banged my head against a wall. They will not increase the offer or help out in any other way. They also wanted to remind me that on the 16th October £205 of charges will be going out, thanks for the kick in the teeth !!! I explained our serious hardship case several times which included my wifes reduction in hours at work 2 years ago due to the birth of our children. That is the point the charges spiralled out of control. Natwestmemberstaff do you still think its worth going to the FOS ?0

I have a couple of questions, hopefully this is the correct area to post. I am currently studying with Computeach and they have a partnership with Barclays so I got a buy now pay later scheme with them on their partner finance scheme. This gives you 1 year until you have to pay back the loan. I recently had a letter from Barclays stating that my year runs out on 22 October this year and I either pay it back in full or make montly repayments. The repayments they set I can't afford, so rang them up and was told I need to fill out an Income and Expenditure Form which I can get from the Citizens Advice Bureau. Went there and was told that they couldn't give me one as I wasn't speaking to an advisor, didn't really understand why, but they said I could get one online to fill out, they told me to come to this website and here I am.
My only problem is I can't actually find the form. They told me there was a form along with a section on how to fill it out. Is there someone who could point me in the right direction, or have I been running round in circles? Need to get this sorted before the 22 so I don't end up in debt
Thanks for any and all help!

Also I have sent a letter to Hsbc claiming back around 300 worth of charges, they responded by asking for a full income and expenditure. I called them up and gave all figures over the phone. The guy I spoke to had a look and has refunded me all the charges, all 300 due to financial hardship0
