Bank Charges Financial Hardship Disussion
Comments

I sent off a reclaim letter about two months ago for about £900, claiming financial hardship. I was sent a generic letter back telling me to ring the customer support unit, which I did, and they agreed that I am in financial hardship. I haven't heard anything since then, and whenever I ring I just get put through to CSU who aren't the most helpful bunch, put it that way. Have just been informed that financial hardship cases AREN'T eligible for any preferential treatment. Am fed up of going round in circles and being told different things by different people... Help anyone? :mad:0

Finally sent of letter (Recorded Delivery) claiming bank charges back from hsbc claiming financial hardship at the start of this week.

I wrote to Alliance & Leicester complaining about bank charges and expressing the fact that I was experiencing hardship. Within 2 weeks they gave me a full refund of £1100.

Called, HBOS Today to try and increase the offer made. I explained how it was down to my wife losing her job then having a baby etc that had caused our account to become overdrawn but they wont budge. She told me i could take it up with the FOS, which i intend to do . Is there a tempate letter fro this or will i just state my case as mentioned in previous posts?.. Also how long can this take and what are the chances of it being successfull ?
 Thanks again for listening

Not sure the link worked... Will try again. I've just done a second letter to send to them. What's the rules on financial hardship cases though? I've been told so many things now I don't know what to believe!0
