Hi. I have had the same/ similar problem to you. I too have claimed for 2 phones and got one cheque back for the correct money. I am going to call them Tomorrow. I have had trouble from CPW at every step with them. I will never take a phone from them again, they have been a nightmare. I will tell them so. Avoid at all costs. They are terrible.

received second cheque yesterday for £68.54!!!!!! - after hanging on their helpline for 25 mins finally got to speak to someone who admitted there has been a c**k up and said they would send out a further cheque for the £40 odd difference - dont really understand why they muck it up as 2 identical contracts showed on my account with 2 different chequebacks sent out at same time - still i suppose its almost worth a little hassle for a deal like this as both phones and calls have been effectively free for 12 months - what really ticks me off is royal mail taking money for a recorded delivery service and then not getting items signed for - i've sent 4 to wednesbury address all recorded and never had one signed for yet

just thought i'd share my experiences with cpw, i've so far taken 6 contracts with them over time.. 2 have long since finished and 4 are currently ongoing.. all cashbacks to date has been paid but ive always made sure i've sent recorded delivery and even trade-ins i've sent have been paid.. The claims process is by far the easiest and they usually allow 60 days whereas all other companies (e.g. osps) make you jump through hoops with vouchers and strict dates.

As was mentioned earlier if at the worst case you dont get results from customer services then write a letter to the legal team giving them 14 days and mention small claims court and breech of contract.
    ummm...

I just called them up, they said the cheque was sent out 20 or 28th June 2006 (i can't remember which date) and it must have got lost in the post, since lots of people had rung up about this batch.

will be cancelled and then reissued, but will take 30-40 days (!!!) to get to me.

    is this normal?
