Dippychick my heart goes out to you. Please take care of yourself and be prepared for the flood of emotions that my arrive.
I was diagnosed with a missed miscarriage last Thursday after a slight brown bleed and some cramping the day before. I too had an early scan and their dates were 2 weeks different to mine. We were 11 weeks 6 days. The scan showed baby only made it to about 7 weeks.
I had an ERPC yesterday and was feeling really positive about things. Then this morning my hormones took over and when my DS is not around I've been unconsoleable.

Maria, that is so so sad. The quiet times are more difficult as you are kind of faced with your emotions (rather than just getting on with stuff), but you need to give yourself time as it must have been a terribly hard week for you. I know there's nothing that anyone can say to help, but I will say prayer for you and your little angel to ask to keep you all safe."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
My thoughts are with you OP (((hugs))))
I`m going through pretty much the same ordeal,my last period was 16/June so I reckon I`m about 5 weeks pregnant.
I had slight bleeding on monday and very mild pain but it cleared up pretty quickly.
Went for a scan this morning and the Radiololgy Report says
* TA and TV scans performed.There is a IU gestation sac present measuring 20.7mm x 15.3mm x 25.6mm.
Within this is a vague echo up against the wall of the sac,too small to determine its nature.
Right maternal ovary appears normal.Left ovary has a 21mm simple cyst present.
No free fluid.
Rescan suggested in no less than 10 days to assess viability*
So I have a scan booked for the 1st of august, the day I go on holiday.
All I saw on the monitor was a sac with a little white bit in the corner of it,which looked like the second picture in the link about blighted ovum.I think I know in myself that this is not going to grow into anything. With my last pregnancy I had a scan at just over six weeks and could see a mass in the sac and a heartbeat.
Now is just the waiting game which I`m sure the OP agrees is the worse bit.Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -

You might find this link to scan pictures enlightening. The first one is of a 5 week 5 day pregnancy.
" The yolk sac (small white circle at upper right of sac) is a source of nutrients for fetus. Fetus is too small to see this early in pregnancy."
So chin up chuck. :kisses3: I had bleeding at 5+ weeks in the pregnancy following my miscarriage. My lovely GP sent me for an emergency scan and the sonographer showed me the heartbeat. She said at that early stage it wasn't unusual not to be able to see a heartbeat though.
That little heartbeat is now my beautiful DD2(11).
You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.
Oi you lot - pleaseGIVE BLOOD
- you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.

Try not to worry about it. And if you are passing red clots it's just blood.
I went to bed last night and last trip to the toilet found a pink blob of jelly and freaked out. So the clot earlier was just a huge ball of blood  . My husband was freaked out by that too.I know for sure that there can't be anything left now.
I didn't expect to see anything pink and clear
We've all been up all night coughing too so I am sure that's making me bleed more as I've got an awful retching cough.:cool:0 -
