Dippychick, you should go to the hospital as they can give you medication which can control the bleeding.
My friend was given these a few weeks ago as she had a mossed miscarriage.
I don't see why you should suffer any more than you have to.
    Thiking of you.

I have left it too late now, am just wondering though how I will be able to sleep with this pain. It's annoying and with my cough I reckon I am going to be up all night.

Dippy, when I miscrried I was given a D&C in case not everything came out - I got the feeling it could mean I would bleed excessively if there were any bits left attached inside me. I may be wrong there though.
Did you go to the hospital earlier? You could give them a ring and ask for advice.
Look after yourself, you will need your energy for the children and you will struggle if your iron levels get too low. (I lived in fear of going dizzy at the top of the stairs while holding a toddler - not a good thought, but anaemia can do that).

  • i think your body uses fresh blood to try to flush the clots out if that makes sense? if the last of them is out then things might start to settle.

the pain might be your womb trying to contract down to its normal size.

did you go to the hospital?

  • dippy you won't sleep anyway, not if you are bleeding heavily. you wake up as soon as you flood and get messy :p

    Dippy, I've PM you.

A tip I was given to help sleep at night for heavy bleeding is to wear two ST at night. One towards the front and one towards the rear. Helps prevent accidents.

I'm OK, still bleeding alot but not changing my pad so frequently now so feeling a bit better.

Pains are getting further apart now so I am hoping they will go soon.

I am going to go in the morning now as I think this is enough and a full 24 hours losing this much blood is sure to affect me in some way.

I've also eaten a big dinner which made me feel better but the coughing is forcing out the blood

All the kids are poorly and coughing too and my husband was up with us all in the early hours whilst I was dishing out the cough medicine (to us included).

I've got one little one up who wont sleep as she is coughing and my husband is sat here with me just feeling like he's done something wrong!

    Thanks Vik :)

It's just one of those things isn't it  . I've got three beautiful children which make it easier to bear, and they do, I am not just saying that :)

If you need a chat, you know where i am....
Ive been there myself, and sometimes, it just 'helps' to write it all down, blurt it all out, something, just to get it off your chest and let go of all your feelings and thoughts...
