It's very quiet here today - I hope everyone's out enjoying the weather.
I've just spent the last couple of hours in the garden reading my book but it seems to have been a bit of a mistake. I seem to have some sort of allergy start up. My face is incredibly itchy (though nothing to show) particularly my nose (on the outside) and I'm all bunged up all of a sudden. But, I need to go back out there in a moment and water everything - it's bone dry.
So, what have I done with my list today?- Fill up the green waste bin with garden debris failed on this - but I have until Weds when it's due to be empty
- [STRIKE]Buy present for DD's birthday tomorrow (already have card)[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Buy frontline for the animals and deflea them.[/STRIKE]
- Put granary loaf on in the BM DiL has actually bought a brown loaf from the corner shop so I'll leave this until tomorrow.
- [STRIKE]Put white loaf on in the BM[/STRIKE]
- Do some ebay stuff Decided to leave this until tomorrow - I've found I get better sales when things end on a Sunday afternoon/evening.
- Cleaned the fishtanks
- Given the kitchen sink a deep clean afterwards
- Dysoned the living room and my bedroom to within an inch of the carpets' lives as both the dog and cats are shedding fur big time at the moment
- Given the dog a really good brush
- Got to grips with my new toy and printed off lots of photos
- Spent a couple of hours reading in the garden
- Prepared beggar's chicken which is in the oven (takes a long time to cook)
- Found proper homes for the stationery I ordered the other week
Right off to water the garden and then read a little more I thinkI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Lil_me to you use SR flour - i always use plain and baking powder, I also use butter rather than margThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
-
Dusty - I've used SR up to now but have stopped buying it because I didn't use it as often, just decided it was easier to have one for all. So will be using plain next time. Unsalted butter usually, not often I have marg in.
Soappie that doesn't sound good, do you usually get hayfever? One day I might be more organised...........

Soappie that doesn't sound good, do you usually get hayfever?
Normally only when the pollen count is really high do I start to sneeze a bit. Or, when driving down the motorway on a hot summer's day, I get what I call my 'motorway nose' which is when the skin on the outside of my nose itches a little. This is like the 'motorway nose' but 20 times as bad. The only pollen I was near was a rose bush. But, then of course, you don't know what's in the air...
Off to fetch another tissue...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Evening!
Lil_me - kids loved it! (Although DS did ask where the mince was!)
Have now attacked DD2's room and found the floor, together with putting away all of her 'babies'- it's like a creche in there! I did try to point out that maybe she has too many dollies- but she put me straight on that matter! (I was informed in the bossy tone that only a 4 year old can possess - that I could leave them in rows across the floor if they didn't fit under the bed!)
DS room tomorrow and then on to the biggie - DD1! She hoards like there's no tomorrow, so I might wait till she's on pack holiday next month and then go through things properly!
Tomorrow we're off to a black tie garden party at some friends. Trying desperately to find something smart enough that won't make me melt. (Still - could stay cool with Pimms.....)
Am now off in search of something cold to drink and to curl up in garden with trashy paperback!
See you later

GG pleased they liked it, your DD2 has made me giggle :rotfl: I love it when they do the 'I'm the boss deal with it' tone. Hope the weather forecast is better for where you are tomorrow evening, rain forecast here.
soappie I didn't get full blown hayfever until a couple of years ago, just as you say a few itch noses, now I get it really bad. Oh and thanks for reminding me to water the garden, DS2s plants haven't been done since we went away
rach I am sure you will be able to catch up after playing hostess.
pigpen well done for surviving.
Just remembered we're going out tomorrow night, which means tomorrow I must get DS1s room tidied (which I did before we went away and they have demolished again today) get the bed pulled out for Mam etc. Decided to give the airshow a miss which will be the first time we've missed it in, hmmm, years, the boys have been every year since they were born. To be honest I just haven't got the energy, I love the aircraft but it's such a long day battling through hours of traffic etc. One year won't hurt and from what they said the mist has stopped a lot of todays display.
Going to sit and watch some tele while the last washer load finishes (just normal stuff after that) then clean Sonic out now it's cooled off outside, well a little bit, have sent the boys back to bed with every window open upstairs as they can't sleep due to being too hot (DS2 having a cold doesn't help)One day I might be more organised...........
